David Cook - Real Life Edward Cullen

So I didn't see a topic posted. I swear that David Cook is a real-life version of Edward Cullen. With his eyes and crooked smile. I just started reading "Twilight" but he so is my Edward Cullen.

Does anyone agree?

Just wanted to introduce myself. I have only posted a few times on this site. I love that so many people are on it to share info about David Cook. I really didn't get on the message boards until the last week of competition. I am glad there are so many people out there who loved David as much as I do.

I think he had me at "Hello" because of the phenomenal performance and the word nerd. I have been a hardcore nerd my whole life so its nice to see another nerd have so much success at doing what they love! I wish all the best in the future!

A little bit about me. I am 25 years old and currently work at the public library. (Yes a perfect job for a word nerd!) I am study to get my MA in Library Science. I love music, movies and TV. My favorite thing to watch are comedies, but I especially like the dark ones like Fight Club. I love watch Idol because you get to see so many potential artists and you get to see their progression. This season that was one of the joys was watching David's growth from the beginning to the end of the season. i can't wait to see what comes next year.

Generosity of Spirit

Dear David,
I just wanted to take a second to applaud your generosity of spirit. Throughout the competition and after, you seemed to have such a generous spirit. No matter who you are that is a rare quality to find. I have been a fan of yours since the Omaha auditions. It is so easy to get overcome the burden of fame but you seem to handle it well. You are also a breath of fresh in the music industry and I am anxiously anticipating your upcoming record. Unfortunately, I won't be able to see you on tour!

I know too much gushing can inflate the ego so I will just end it there.
