David Cooks Album At Border Book Store

Well this is something I just wanted to share not really any important, it took place around the week that David Cooks album came out, but almost every weekend I always stop by Border Bookstore and one time I walked in there my Ipod battery dying and I was listening to David Cook. As soon as it died I was like "Oh there goes Cook for today." As I continued walking it took me a second to notice a familiar tune playing and its "Lie" at that moment I started laughing because the coincidence. As the song ended, the next track played and I guess they were playing his whole album. I was like "Wow I guess an employee here must like David Cook."

I was really glad to hear as well people whispering to themselves at the Cafe lounge in the bookstore. "Yeah who sings this song, I really like it."

Well I haven't been on a Message Board In a Long Time but for the heck of it I decided to join the David Cook Board.

To start of my name is Miguel but everyone just calls me Migi. I'm 16 and will be turning 17 in December which is a long time away. I live In California and currently attend High School.

I wasn't a fan of David Cook from his first audition, but that is only because I didn't watch American Idol until later on.(I usually don't watch Idol.) But one day while skimming a TV Guide Magazine I noticed someone who looked a bit identical to my friend John and I didn't know at the time was David Cook. It was then that I watched Idol to see if they did look similar and that's when I took note of Cook's talent. From that one performance "Billie Jean." I thought wow he's pretty awesome, and therefore became a fan instantly.

So yeah that was my short story on how I came to know of David Cook. I hope to meet people here and I guess I'll see you around the forums
