Hi Everyone!

Hi everyone!
I am new to this website as a member. I belong to other David Cook fan sites, including AI. I have been lurking on here for quite awhile but seem interested to meet other Word Nerds! I remember DC for the first time maybe during Hollywood Week when he performed Everything I Do, and I was very taken aback when Simon said that David would be vulnerable without his guitar! I became a true fan when he performed Eleanor Rigby since I didn't care much for the Beatles' version, but he truly blew me away and I have been officially Cookifed from that moment on!

I am 21 years old and currently a full time college student. I plan to graduate this fall with an associate degree in Business Administration. After that I plan to get a "real" job. My life has been weird lately. I recently broke up again with my boyfriend of two years. He just wasn't treating me right. I hardly saw him or talked to him on the phone at all which made our relationship struggle deeply. Our communication was falling short. I felt like I was trying so hard to make ends meet yet he had excuses why he wouldn't see me as much. However, I have been feeling better lately by listening to DC's music. I think I gained the courage to get out of the darkness and live my life the way I want to. Actually once I started seeing him on American Idol I rarely worried about my ex boyfriend if any. I just realized there's more to life than someone taking advantage of my time. Sorry my intro was so long! Oops! lol.
