Hello Everyone! My names Danielle, I'm 20 and from NY!
I've been coming to this board for months now and reading all the wonderful posts you guys have but I never had time to post. Then I finally registered a couple weeks ago and have been coming here everyday since but still haven't found the time to post and haven't been sure if i want to get involved in another messageboard but I'm finally posting. Even if I don't post a lot I just wanted to introduce myself and thank you for having such a great site and everyone here for being such awesome david cook fans. Everyone on this board seems way nice and welcoming which is not the case at most boards.

I have not watched american idol since the first season. I just didn't think it was a worth while show and I only like rock music (more specifically hardcore, punk, punk/pop) and I never found that AI was too interesting for my music taste. I'll admit, I haven't taken the winners too seriously either, until this year. My friend who is a huge fan of the show was watching it and i heard david cook sing and everything changed. He gave me a reason to watch the show and reconsider my previous opinions on it. I'm glad he won. The show has grown and changed as its fan base and styles have which is a good thing. He deserves to be where he is right now. He is such a talented and amazingly sweet person. I wish him the best of luck and know I can not wait for his newest album!
