I have you all to thank for my opportunity to meet David! Without these boards, I would not have known about the autograph session, and I would have missed my once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Just random thoughts here....he just didn't seem quite right tonight, like he's lost that swagger & confidence he has had all along. Where did it go??! My thought is that he looked so freaked out when Carly left, it must have occurred to him that she was one of the two people who were in a position to challenge him in the finale. I think all of this is getting so close to actually happening (becoming American Idol) that he has just basically stopped in his tracks out of shock! I wish we could tell him to snap out of it and pull out all the stops for next week's performance. He's so much better than this---no way should he let nerves kill this ride!
