My little Indianapolis experience

I'm a little late here but here I go! I'm not too sure how this is going to read either so just bear with me!

Well I got to Conseco a little before noon and easily found where all of the fans were waiting. They didn't start coming out until around 2 but it was a beautiful day out so the wait wasn't too bad. Everyone was very well behaved too. Where I was standing there was no pushing or screaming. I also met a few ladies from the site. It's nice to put a name with a face

I won't go into too much detail about meeting everyone. I mostly just got quick pictures. A few quick little things though:

Ramielle is so tiny!! I knew she was short but wow. She barely made it over the barricade.

Archie is downright adorable in person.

Michael's accent is so much sexier when you're standing right there.

Someone asked Michael to do his sexy dance and then he told them Jason should do it. It was funny/cute, Jason seemed kinda embarrassed.

Then there was a guy who got Carly's name tattooed on him, I think. Man I thought that poor guy was going to hyperventilate. He was freaking out when Carly got over there. She was super nice though. She spent a lot of time talking to everyone.

Sadly Cookie and Chikeze never made it out. I had a feeling Chikeze wouldn't because when he wasn't out within the first couple idols I found it odd. Michael and Jason were the last two to come out and they left around 3:50 to do the meet and greet. Like I said... no Cookie. We were all really disappointed. I felt like I couldn't leave but my friend was starving so we left. I didn't miss anything but leaving kinda met it was over, you know.

So on to the show now. As soon as they opened the doors I went in to find my seats. OMG!! I was so much closer than I thought I'd be. The seating charts on ticketmaster did no justice at all! The floor was so tiny and F2 row 6 was so much closer than it should have been... not that I'm complaining!

I was sitting next to a woman and her daughter and I was telling her how we met the idols in the afternoon. She was in shock and so curious how I knew about everything. Thanks d-c.org! So after the show (I'll eventually get there!) I brought them with us since they didn't know where to go.

Back to the concert though! I was sitting there before it started and I saw this guy walking. I was like dude thats Luke! I told my friend and she had no idea who I was talking about. I kept watching him, trying to figure it out. DC's guitar hero commercial came on and I didn't even glance at it. My friend was freaking out, beating my leg but I kept looking at Luke trying to see if it was really him. She thought I was nuts but I knew better. As soon as I saw someone taking a picture with him, I knew it had to be him. And the idols confirmed it during the show. I was really proud of myself for spotting him though lol.

Briefly (because this is already getting long), Chikeze and Ramielle were really good. I think they've gotten much better. Kristy did good as well but I'm not a country girl. I got so scared when she finished though! They were lowering her into the stage and all of a sudden she just flew down! It seriously looked like those tubes at the bank in the drive thru hahaha. I hope you know what I'm talking about lol. Michael was amazing, nothing new there! The same thing with Carly. Brooke too actually. She was so adorable singing 1234 by Feist.

I sure hope nothing amazing went down during intermission because I spent all my time getting a measly drink and going to the bathroom. The line was insane and I didn't even have to pee but I knew as soon as the show ended I had to get out to the bus area. Sorry if that was too much information lol.

Jason has gotten a lot better as well. But I guess you can only go up when your last performances were a disaster. Love Jason but he butchered Bob Marley on the show. Syesha was amazing too... but I thought her boobs were going to fall out of her dress. Nothing to do with her singing but just an observation! Archie killed it! I never liked that Angels song but that boy sure can sing it! I LOVED Apologize, esp. since it was the actual OneRepublic version.

And now David Cook. He rocked it, no surprise there though. It looked like he got a hair cut. He had to sit down bacause his pants were coming untied. Gosh I wished he would have just let them go lol. (Sorry I'm being choppy now but this is so long, I doubt you're even reading this anymore!) All of his songs were amazing I don't even know what to say. Words don't really do it, you just have to be there.

Don't Stop the Music...... OMG!!!! What I've gathered from the other shows, Cook and MJ do the robot. I was waiting for it, knew it was coming... but what they did... it was def NOT the robot. It was a million times better! I don't even know how to type it. I'm praying for a youtube video of it, because I didn't get it. It's one of those things you just have to see.

So they show is over. Ribbons fly out. I scooped a handful and stuffed them in my purse. Now it was time to run to the bus area... but our aisle was not moving. I was so mad!! When I finally made it out there it wasn't too bad. I was the second "row" about halfway through. But if you weren't up against the barricade, you didn't get much out of it. Although I kinda got a little. So they eventually started coming out and I have like three stories and this beast is done!

When Chikeze was in front of me I was like, "hey where were you earlier this afternoon?!" He said he wanted to be out but something about no security. I wasn't too sure lol. Then he apologized and it sounded like he felt really bad. So then I felt bad!! I told him awe it's okay, nothing to apologize about.

Then when Michael Johns was by me I just couldn't resist... I shouted, "hey Michael why didn't you sing Bohemian Rhapsody tonight?!" Sure enough he busts out, "mamma oooowww." As soon as he stopped everyone was like c'mon don't stop! Gosh I was so proud to have prompted that!

David Cook finally makes it out... pure pandemonium!! I got crushed pretty much instantly. But I couldn't care less! It didn't phase me either way. David got upset though. When he got to us he was telling us we had to stop pushing because as soon as someone got hurt he would have to leave. People calmed down a little I guess. But not really.

As he made his way down everyone else left. WHAT?! There was no way I was leaving! I finally made it to the front of the barricade haha. I was hoping maybe I could grab him for a quick picture when he finished at the other end. It didn't happen because he flew past. But it was okay.

We all had our hands out and he was high fiveing us as he ran by. He touched my left hand! If thats what I had to settle with, so be it! It was so funny though... the barricade gave way when he went past and I totally thought I was going to face plant into the cement. How sad is it that I wish that really did happen? Then maybe he would have came over to see if I was okay Hah sorry I'm strange I know!

So there in my experience! I apologize for how long it is. I really thought it was going to be shorter!
