I was a twentysomething in the 70's, and yes, it was awesome! My kids wish they could live then too. The best (only?) thing they've gotten from me is the music I've loved.

I just watched this news clip and when they talk to David about his website, they show "The Dash" instead of DCO! Way to go Travis! Um...I hope David doesn't get mad at us.

Anyone lucky enough to live in or near Kansas City, enter this contest! http://wdaf.4wmt.com/default.aspx?go=
You can win a signed poster and record, but it has to be picked up at the fox studios. It ends at noon on Nov. 21st. If I win is there someone in KC who would pick it up?...Good luck everyone! Sara

So there seem to be 3 different bonus songs. I really want Kiss On The Neck. Anyone know how to get this one, or preferably all 3 bonus tracks without having to buy 3 records from 3 different places?

I saw this posting:
The Cook single, by contrast, is a bit of an underperformer. With 109,000 downloads, Cook’s “Light On” makes a respectable Hot 100 showing at No. 17. But compared with fellow American Idol finalist David Archuleta, whose “Crush” debuted at No. 2 in August with 166,000 downloads in its first week, those numbers look a little… um, light. (Sorry.) Where Cook’s hit goes from here will depend on radio’s embrace, and so far things don’t look good: “Light On” is totally absent not only from the all-genre Hot 100 Airplay list but from both the Mainstream and Modern Rock charts, despite Cook’s status as the first Idol “rocker” winner and the presence of co-writer Chris Cornell. http://idolator.com/5061823/a-strapped-ame...torm-the-top-40 What can we do? This google alert made me laugh because it is so NOT the David Cook we know!
http://www.clevelandbanner.com/index.cfm?e...7AA7C012F3665AE A frightfully good scare waits Friday night with the opening of the House of Horrors. The House of Horrors, located at the corner of Inman and Edwards streets, has a mix of monsters -- "a little old and a little new," according to David Cook, chief fright designer. In this hometown interview David talks about how he can't take the whole haunted house thing, so he would stay outside and hand out Axium cd's to people while his band mates went in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08OF6lEr6aI...feature=related Listen at about 1:03. (He cries of course at about 2:37) |
