I embrace all nationalities, faiths, lifestyles & cultures. Our differences are what makes us unique, and shouldn't be a source of hate, prejudge or separation. We are all God's children, He loves us all, and made us individuals for a reason. If we all were the same, the world would be a very boring place. Other Information

Mods: I know this isn't a help plea relating to the site, so please move this to wherever it may belong.
I have a dilemma and I'm wondering if someone can help me, or if someone could recommend who I might ask, to put David's TV apperances on DVD for me. Here's my problem, for years, whenever I wanted to save something special from TV, I simply recorded it with my VCR, and had my tapes safely stored away, this has been no different with David, I taped every apperance he's made, with the exception of anything that aired on cable channels that I don't get, and whenever I want to see the cute moment where David passed out on Jay Leno's couch because he was so tired after winning AI, or when he looked right at Archie's face when they were on The View together, or most recently, him singing Declaration, which I can't seem to stop watching, on SNL, I just pull out one of my tapes. Now with the switch to digital TV coming, my family has purchased all new TV's...without VCR's. I have a little less then 4 months, before my tapes become useless, because I won't have anything to play them on, and I don't want to lose all the cute David moments I've come to relay on, to lift my spirits when I'm feeling down. We have everything here available for download, but my old computer won't allow me to do that, and I was told by someone else that the videos here may need to be converted to a different format, so I can watch them on my TV, and I don't even know what that means, let alone how to do it! I'm desperate and pleading here, can someone do this for me? I've contacted several people from different sites, and they've all gotten my hopes up, saying they would make the DVD, or DVD's for me, and I never hear from them again. Can anyone help me? I'm desperate. ~Kelly~

OK, so here's my situation,
Then I started reading here, how almost everyone is getting to meet them and I started feeling sad thinking I'd never be able to, then my mom gave me some exciteing news, she is going to drive us to my concert next Saturday! So I don't have to worry about missing a ride or anything this time, and now suddenly with only a weeks notice, I just might get my chance to meet them! So now I'm freaking out, I have no clue what to say to David, I mean how does one sum up everything, (like I had no idea who he was a few months ago, now I'm in love/obsessed with him, listen to Analog Heart everyday, and he inspired me to write for the first time ever with my fanfics,) without sounding like a crazed lunatic stalker? And then what do I say to the others, I really like Carly, Jason, and Michale Johns too, but don't know how to say so! Who would've known the possiblity of meeting people you like, could make you feel so stupid, and lose the ability to voice your feelings? What do I ask them to sign? I ordered a program, so I wouldn't have to stand in line to get one, and it should be coming this week, would that work? I wanted it to be something all of them could sign, and I don't think they'd all want to sign a picture of David, but God knows I have many of them! So help me out. What did you ask David and the other Idols to sign? I'm hearing asking David for a kiss may not be a good idea, do you think he'd mind a hug? I've heard the Idols start coming out anywhere about after 20 minutes after the show, how long do they spend with everyone waiting to meet them? How long did they spend talking to you? Word_Nerd_DC_Rules5, Emilie, (shout out to you if you're reading this Emilie! *hugs*) suggested I leave early during "Please Don't Stop The Music" to get a good place at the front of the crowd by the buses, is that what you did if you met the Idols after the show? Did you get a good place at the front of the crowd, perfect for getting a hug from DC? Please post and tell my your experience to keep me from panicing, because every thread I read is mostly about people who've met them Before the show, and I'd love to hear how it was meeting them After the concert. Thanks! ~Kelly~

I'm going to see David on the 19th, (only two weeks away! Gah!
Mine starts at 7:00pm, so with it starting then, when can I expect it to be over? Like what time? You have no idea how much this'll help me, because if I should go the car service route, I need to reserve it soon, and I have no clue what time to tell them to be there. With past concerts, someone suggested I call and ask the venue, but when I did that last November when I saw Clay Aiken's Christmas concert, they gave me a time, and the concert ended up being over way before the time I was told, and my mom and I had to wait for like an hour, as everyone left, and the venue was closing, for our car to come. So you'd really be helping me out. ~Kelly~

OK, I'm probably just someone who worries a bit too much by nature, but I really need someones help to ease my troubled mind.
If you're going to the July 19th Idol concert at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont IL, what do your tickets look like? When I usually get a ticket from ticketmaster, it's orange and yellow with the word "ticketmaster" behind the concert name and date, my tickets came from a guy on ebay, (ho took forever to get them too me, kept claiming he had to get them first, Does anyone else's tickets look like this? Please let me know, you'll really be putting my mind at ease here. I thought all ticketmaster tickets looked the same, or is the Allstates just different? I know these couldn't have come from anyone other then ticketmaster to be real, because the Allstate site says to go there to get tickets for Idol, they apparently don't sell them through the Allstates site. Anyway, Thank you so much. ~Kelly~

I had this idea, and I'm wondering if anyone else would like to do it, or if it's totally stupid.
Having just acquired my Word Nerd Number, and being totally proud of it, I thought it would be even more personal then the DC buttons I've seen, (because if we made our own, we could put our own unique numbers and titles on them,) and even more noticeable then, or to go with, the Word Nerd wristbands. And especially noticeable for those of us who maybe won't be wearing a DC shirt, but still want to show who we're there for. If enough, or even, all, of us did it, we could really start a concert trend, find each other, and wear our numbers proudly. Please tell me what you think! And if you'd want to do it too! ~Kelly~ |
