My review of the Long Island shows

Okay,so I have no idea how I ended up to New York to see the shows,but I am more than happy that I did,because it really was the time of my life (Sorry about the lenght)

It was the most surreal feeling when someone you're really a fan of is standing in front of you. Though I had imagined I would go totally crazy and not be able to say anything that would sound even close to english,but somehow I was able to act almost completely normal.Maybe it was because in my head there was no way David Cook could be standing in front of me (I mean come on,how could that be possible? XD).

He signed my banner,and my friends banner and I had a gift bag I had planned to give to him face to face,but me idiot forgot to give it to him,and I had to give it to a security guard to give to him.Well,atleast I know he got it because it saw it on his hand when he left

The concert itself was great.It was crazy how good they all sounded,even the ones I didn't like that much during American Idol.But,of course,my personal favorites were Michael and both Davids. I'm going to talk about Michael first.I knew beforehand that he is going to sing It's all wrong... and Dream on,but We will rock you/champions was a totally pleasant surprise to me. These songs were my favorite Michael songs from the whole season,and I am so glad he chose to sing those. And he was awesome.

For the whole season I have waited that Archie would sing Josh Groban.He has the kind of voice that I always thought would fit to Josh Groban songs,and I was right.I have never heard anyone succeed in singing Josh Groban properly,but he did.And I was also pleasantly surprised about the way he was talking to the audience between the songs.He seemed much more comfortable talking than in the show,and there was much less giggling XD

Then the reason why we were there.David Cook.When he started Hello,my hands were shaking a lot,and it shows in the video I have in my camera. I just could not believe that I was actually hearing/seeing David Cook singing live instead of from a computerscreen.And singing my favorite songs.

There's not enough words to describe how awesome Davids performances were,so I'm just going to leave it here (about Davids performances,I mean.The story still continues.Keep reading XD) It was perfect.

We watched the group performance,and then quickly ran out side to get a good spot incase they would come out. And we had a good spot.I was so happy when Michael came out (and we saw his dog,it was so cute!) and when he came to us and I asked him to sign my banner,he asked us where are we from.I said from Finland.Then he told us he had a roommate in college who was from Finland.How cool is that?

Then Tuesday.There seemed to be a lot less people than there were on Monday.Well,anyway,David Cook came out again.When he came to us,he remembered us from Monday,even though he had only seen us briefly (but I guess those huge banners telling we're from Finland are kind of hard to miss,right? XD).I got a picture with him,and I hugged him and he had a warm back (totally irrelevant,but I just had to mention it ).He had already moved on,when I followed him,and asked him to say something to Finnish fans (though I think I said Finnish people instead of fans,but he got my point and now he's in my camera ).After that I just had to get away,I was so happy I almost cried.

Okay,so then they left again and we went inside and saw that there were people,preparing on going to the meet&greet.There was a guy who seemed like he could be able to get us in,and we just went to him and asked if there was any chance to get in there,because we came all the way from Finland to see these guys. He told us to wait a second,and came back with another guy who asked us A LOT of questions,like why should we get there and why are we here in the first place,and he obviously thought we were crazy (we are,we know that).But...We got in!!!

We were standing right outside the room where the Idols were,and my batteries died.Thank God I had a spare pair with me,and I got my camera working again when we got in (though the pics suck because of the lighting).The craziest thing that happened was when David (Cook) looked up and saw us in the line,he waved at us. Waved,at us!I had a camera in my hand,and I think I waved back with just one finger,and I felt stupid after that.But I didn't think about very long,because we were next to the table now. Brooke remembered us from outside,Ramiele and Syesha completely ignored us, and I got one louzy picture of Chikezie (since he didn't come out at all).And David told him I was from Finland (his actual words were "She's from Finland").Michael also remembered us from last night,and he even remembered where we were from.He asked us if we were coming to the show that night and thanked us for flying so far.

I could not believe we were so lucky.I usually curse the fact that I'm from overseas,but this time it really helped. Unfortunately that was the last time we saw David and Michael up close. The concert was once again amazing,we didn't get to see the Mavid dance because we left early in case they'd show up outside,but they didn't,and that bothers me bit but otherwise had the most amazing time.

Now I'm totally broke,I burned my shoulders while waiting outside and everybody thinks I'm crazy,but I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Hint:If you are travelling from somewhere far,make sure everyone knows that.It helped us
And never trust a security guard.They lie.If they say no one is coming,someone is definitely coming.That
happened several times

One ticket on sale for both August 4th&5th shows in Long Island

I have three tickets ordered for both Long Island,NY shows,but unfortunately one of us won't be able to come after all,so I have one ticket for both shows on sale.


August 4th : section 203,row C, seat 15

August 5th: section 214,row L,seat 15

I can't remember the prices right now because I can't get to my email,but it won't be more than the prices were on Ticketmaster And you could only buy one,don't have to buy both

Unfortunately,I won't be having the tickets until the day of the show,because of the International Will Call,but you wouldn't have to pay them either before you get them

So if you're interested,please let me know asap.

Where can I get them,how much are they and when can I buy them?

I'm now seriously planning on going to Tulsa if only I get money for it, and I have absolutely no clue how this ticket thing works in the US,so I really need help. Thanks!
