So, what do you have in common with David Cook? I keep noticing little things, here and there, that I have in common, and it makes me happy when I do. I think that people tend to gravitate towards those who have traits and interests in common with them, so maybe that's part of the reason why we all have David constantly on the brain?

So just post anything that you think you have in common with David...doesn't have to be personality/interests either, it can be physical resemblances like eye color or a common hometown or whatever as well.

Let's see: I have a younger brother, I am Irish, and I am pale! And does he really have hazel eyes, because if he does, than that's something else I have in common with him. Yeah that's all I got right now. LOL

I cry easily, am a hopeless romantic. I do crosswords. Does that qualify?

I've realized a bunch of things that we have in common, here's a few just off the top of my head: I have the same middle initial, I have two siblings that are the same gender as me, I have hazel eyes and brown hair, I'm a romantic, I love words/reading/etc., I'm a dork (I don't know if that counts, but I thought I'd throw it in anyway)...that's about all I can think of at the moment.

We also seem to share some of the same values and opinions, but I don't know if those really count so I decided to omit them.

Some things I have in common with David are...

I have tattoos.

When I laugh, I tend to slap my leg, but I have done the clapitylaugh too. THANK YOU to the poster who came up with the term "clapitylaugh". It's PERFECT.

I think we have similar taste in comedians. I believe he likes Patton Oswalt, Stephen Lynch, Jim Gaffigan, etc. I LOVE them too. I love David's sense of humor. I can totally see how he thinks Archie is hilarious....and DA doesn't even see it. LOL.

Family is important to me, and I have a younger/older brothers too. One of my younger brothers is left-handed and has hazel eyes too.

I can get the tears flowing pretty easy as well.

I really am a "word nerd" too. I love using a wide range of vocabulary, and like crossword puzzles,etc.

Maybe I should answer my own question...

-I'm a bona fide word nerd...I like to use complicated words in normal conversation and writing...one time this year I used the word "convoluted" when I answered a question in class and people were all like......and that's not even really a complicated word...I like crosswords, too.

-My mom thinks that I have some facial resemblance to David. I don't see it. At all.

-This one in particular is special to me...remember that interview that David did with Glamour or Seventeen or one of those magazines? This quote: "I don't know that this is a habit, but when you're turning the volume up on the radio--you know, you get the numbers from zero to 50--the number always has to be an even number or a multiple of five for me. I'm a bit of a neurotic that way." It has special meaning to me, because I have some pretty bad OCD issues that bother me a lot...I guess you could say I much prefer ODCD. One of them is doing certain things in multiples of five, and it was that way before I'd even heard of David. So I don't know...it didn't make me happy, exactly, but it was just a nice feeling to think that David would get what I was talking about. It was a potent quote for me.

-The comments with the AOL Sessions photos said something about David being guarded until he gets to know people. I am definitely the same way, but probably to a greater extent. He can be totally comfortable with the fans and everything, but I think that if I was put in a position where I had to deal with that I might end up coming off a bit stand-offish...I'm not rude, just very quiet unless I know you well.

-Reddish-brown hair

-I tend to mess with my shirt a lot...pulling it down and whatnot.

-My signature "WTH/okaaaaaay..." look is the same eyebrow thing that David does. I've had the cocked eyebrow move mastered for years...I remember in seventh grade some kid said something like "she's giving me that evil eyebrow again"...

I noticed that I tend to do it with my left eyebrow up when I think somebody's doing something stupid or I'm angry, and my right eyebrow up when I think something is weird or ridiculous or stupid and amusing at the same time.

-We seem to have some of the same musical tastes, based on that USA Today article with the iPod and what he's said before. Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, etc...and Happy Xmas (War Is Over) is one of my favorite holiday songs...

Woah, that's funny that I found this I just mentioned having things in common with him on another thread. There's alot.

Our parents are divorced and he was raised by his mom mostly (that's not a good one either)

I cry really easy, but not usually in front of people that I don't know, of course given the right situation I might

Another yucky one, we both have big feet and big hands, an advantage for him and disadvantage for me

And if he really does carry lysol with him everywhere then we're both clean freaks

We both like jokes and laughing, although I think he may have a bigger sense of humor than I do and he's alot funnier

Not so much in common, but he was a bartender and has no clue how to make a cosmo or any other cocktail for that matter and I know how to make a bunch, lol. I could say he was a bartender and I like to drink. I don't drink more than one at a time, I drink more wine than the hard stuff and I can't stand beer, so there goes part of that one.
