Just a question to remind you of the better things that are going on, especially in this tough time.
Me? What makes me happy today is the fact that I don't have any illnesses to hamper me celebrating the Holidays! Of course, it is an added bonus that I'm able to access the site at work to keep in touch with you guys! |

At the moment, I'm happy that I got some Christmas shopping done today. I went from having nothing bought for anyone to about halfway done.
 I've got to get a move on!

I'm happy that my Mom and Dad are visiting from Connecticut for Christmas next week, and I have the whole week off.
I'm also happy for finding David this spring which has made for a wonderful summer filled with music, and meeting (even if not in person) all the wonderful people here at The Dash. Merry Christmas to everyone!!! |

I'm happy today because this is the last day of my workweek, my teammates and I will be having lunch afterwards and I'm listening to Light On right now, at work!!!! What a perfect way to start my day (night)! |

I'm happy because Christmas is a week away. And I didn't procrastinate like I normally do, so I'm good on my Christmas shopping. And I get a five-day weekend next week since I'm taking Wednesday and Friday off! |

Good Idea for a thread.
I'm happy for everything I have. Random Story, but the other day my mom and I were going Christmas Shopping and there was a guy singing silent night and ringing the bell to give money to charity. and he made me smile, he was getting into it. So I gave him a dollar and as I was walking away a couple of guys starting walking in and were making fun of him by mocking him.. and he stopped singing with his head hanging. My mother and I were getting hysterical about it and starting crying later after that. I just have so much to be thankful for. |

I have many reasons to be happy...
1. My youngest son is in Iraq, but safe, healthy, and happy. (even though not being home for Christmas makes me very sad). 2. I'm going to Las Vegas on December 30th to see David. I have never seen him live and am SO EXCITED. 3. I am happy to have good friends who never let me get too lonely with my son gone. (I am a single mom). 4. I am happy to have found this site. I feel like I have a lot of new friends to whom I can talk about David incessantly and they don't think I'm crazy. 5. I am happy to be healthy with a good job and roof over my head. Happy Holidays to everyone at The Dash! |
