i am thinking it might be a stretch for me to make the philly show next week.
if you would like a single ticket on the floor section 5 send me your best offer via PM. seriously. this ticket could go for 2 dollars if it is the best offer i get. i don't want a profit... i don't even think i can get my money back... so. speak up if interested. if no one wants it... i'll just go to the show.

So... I'm up late again as usual and I was about to try and sleep but I decided I'd put a vision of Cookie in my head before attempting to dream a little. So I opened up Youtube and searched David Cook and some of his performances came up. One of the first few ones on the list was Hello... and I thought, "mmm... yes."
So I watched the performance and thought to myself... "i miss that sweet baby face... i really would like to see him clean shaven again." But that is not the point of my post. I starting thinking about how we've never heard a full version of Hello. And then I started remembering that David mentioned that he might do this song on tour. I remember much of the talk about some of the songs that he mentioned playing, ie Magic Rainbow, ABMB, Billie Jean... etc they are all on the slowish side and don't really showcase his rockinness (yes, i made up that word). Well then I started thinking... wow, he could really do some wonders with Hello and probably arrange it to really rock out. He could throw a kickass guitar solo in there and add more drums to the arrangement. I dunno... I don't make music, I just listen to it... but i think it would pretty cool if he did that. Thoughts?

I just serendipitously came across this indie film tonight on youtube and I thought it was brilliant. If you haven't seen it you should go here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdR41fe9Zeg to check it out and if you like it be sure to register at http://www.ourstage.com/go/10mph to help support the film makers. Or just go directly to ourstage and register because it's free and you get a free download of the movie instead of watching it on youtube.
here's the trailer if you're not ready to invest the 92 minutes just yet.
