I know some of you out there were lucky enough to see David perform before he became our American Idol, either with Axium, MWK, or even solo. I'm curious to know if his fans then were as....um...."excitable" as they are now. Did the audience react to him as they do now? Or is all this adulation new?

Just got to reading Thursday's Globe and came across a funny article on the faux hawk. Although there is a picture of our David (well, at least from the nose up) in the print version of the article, there's no pic of him in the gallery of hairstyles that accompany the online story.

here's the link: http://www.boston.com/lifestyle/fashion/ar...7/31/tuft_love/

I particularly love the quote "As befits a style that suggests equal parts hip and nerdy, tough and tender, the fauxhawk can be worn across a wide spectrum of audacity."

Is there an official policy? I was recently trying to buy tickets here for the tour to avoid the outlandish prices of StuB Hub and other "ticket agencies", ie, scalpers. I was delighted to get two responses from people who posted that they had extra tickets available. When I read what they were asking for those tickets, I was shocked and dissappointed!! On every other fan site I belong to, it is absolutely forbidden to ask for anything above the face value, other than service fees and/or postage. If you do, you are called out for it by other members.

I really feel strongly about scalping. I have never done it, nor would I ever buy from them. Every ticket I ever re-sold was sold at face value or below or given away in earlier hippie days wink.gif

We are a community and should therefore support each other. It is not OK for fans of David Cook to take advantage of other fans by asking ridiculous prices to recoup their own losses.

Can we get a ruling on this, Travis? Discuss.

p.s. Anyone with an extra ticket for 8/9 or 8/10, and is willing to sell at face value, please PM me.
Thanks.
