Since the silicone wristbands are all the rage..I was thinking it woul be cool for the word nerds to have a wristband with their WN # on it. Usually the bands are bought in bulk but obviously since everyone has a different # that would be impossible. I found a site where you can create your own wristband and you don't have to order in bulk. You could just order yours and be done.
I was thinking they should however be the same color..more unified that way..don'cha think? I was thinking orange since the one he wears for Lindsey is orange and would have some meaning as well. You could pick whatever font you'd like. The only downside is that unlike the other bracelets, none of the money used to buy these will be put to charity, since they are individual purchases. As most of you David Cook fans know, David's brother Adam, needs special transportation to get to L.A. There's a fund set up to get him there for the finals. They need $80,000 for the trip. I know, its a LOT.
Anyway, there's a website called helpbringadamback. com. It has a lot of information and the name/address of a bank in Indiana that is collecting $$$ for the family. Here's the real problem... There is only $4,300 in the account. (That was verified today by Sweet Mercy on this board!) Maybe there's more coming via paypay, or mail...but it's nowhere near what the family needs to get Adam there. I heard an interview with David - he said his performance suffered GREATLY last week b/c of the financial problems they're having. American Idol, Coke, Fox...NO ONE will contribute to this fund. WHY??? It's an outrage! Please get this out to as many as you can. We care what happens to him - maybe we can make a difference. PLEASE REPOST EVERYWHERE.
