Hi all! I've lurked here for awhile and enjoyed checking out everyone's creations. I finally decided to register so I could do some sharing of my own. I'm a graphic designer, and each week through the AI season I've been blowing off boring paid work in favor of a more, um, inspirational subject. So I now have a complete set of replacements for the generic Idol album art that comes with the DC songs you buy from iTunes. If you're interested, feel free to check them out and download them. (See sig for a few samples and link).
Also - apologies if you've seen this post before! I mistakenly put it in the Pictures thread originally, but I'm learning.

I added your album covers to my iTunes and it has really livened up my DC files!! They look really good on the iPod too!! Thanks for sharing! Glad to see such good talent displayed here to share!

Wow, these are amazing! I especially love The World I Know #1 and I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For #1 - they are so simple yet so classically beautiful!

First you'll need to right-click on each new cover you want to use and save it somewhere on your hard drive. Then, open up iTunes and click on the song whose artwork you want to change; under the File menu select "Get Info," then click on the Artwork tab. Click "Add" and locate the new artwork on your hard drive. It will be added to the selections. If necessary, drag the new one all the way to the left in the window, and hit OK. There are a couple of other ways to go about it, but this one is the most reliable. And thanks, y'all, for the kind comments! |
