I just heard on T.V. that there are unconfirmed repports that Michael Jackson had a heart attack and passed away? Has anyone else heard this? Supposedly it was reported by TMZ...I sat there with my mouth wide open...If the reports are true, my heart goes out to the Jackson Family

I guess I can say my two boys (ages 7 & 8) have been slightly cookified...They LUV David's CD (probably because it's playing constantly...
My 7yr old was so excited to tell me he created a "shortcut" on his desktop for david-cook.org...in case I want to use his computer! They make me so proud!

Let me start by saying I never really watched America's Got Talent in the past...this year was no different. One night, I happened to have channel 4 on, nothing else to watch...Eli comes on...opens his mouth...and out comes this beautiful music. He was singing "Walkin in Memphis". I guess it was fate for me to stumble on to him. The look of "awe" on his face was so real when everyone cheered him. I think this man will go very far...if not on AGT, then someone will pick him up...As with our Cookie, I get chills when I hear him sing...(well maybe not as much as with our Cookie, but enough!)
Tonight is part of the semi-finals, and Eli will be performing again (finally!!) If your interested, check him out...NBC at 8pm...and if you like him, Please vote! (this is almost like dejavu!!! For those interested, tonight is also the premiere of America's Next Top Model

O.K. so this is some of my story...
My nephew lost his battle to Cancer six and a half years ago, at the age of 27. He was a beautful young man, so full of life and love. Our family misses him dearly. Every year around his birthday, we have an Annual Karaoke Night. The money that is raised on this night (Raffles, Karaoke Dares, etc.) go to various Cancer-related causes. His sister makes this all possible, she is truly dedicated! She has been a "ChemoAngel" probably for about 5 or six years now, sponsoring a little girl from Kansas. The girl is 11 years old now, AND IN REMISSION!!! She is well enough to be able to attend this year's event (which is tomorrow)!!! everyone is sooo excited to finally be meeting her. (She is a big DC Fan, by the way!) The money raised will go to her and her family, to help pay for their trip. She has asked all of us to wear t-shirts and buttons that say "CANCER SUCKS" (in two words, that just about sums it up dontcha think?) My idea is to make something with this "to-the point" statement, of course, with the proceeds going to ACS...(as long as this phrase wouldn't be considered offensive in any way...) I was thinking----magnets??? keychains??? bracelets??? Any input is welcomed...I was considering adding "David Cooks Fans Unite Against Cancer" but I see this is already being used...maybe David Cook Fans Combat Cancer...??? Let me know what your feelings are on this...and feel free to visit my nephew's page www.geocities.com/franklaperuta Have a blessed day!

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get home from the Prudential Center. Hopstop.com is giving me two choices: The Path train or NJ Transit. Anyone have any insight? I've never traveled on either of these lines. Any advice would be appreciated!
