Not a fan of it either - I love tattoos and have several but I think some are better left hidden. Just my opinion, please don't attack me!

I agree. Needs to definitely have some of Neal's influence on this next CD.

Ummmm, I wasn't referring to you in any way. I've received some email messages that haven't been very nice so I was just saying, if you don't like what my price is then that's fine but please don't bash on me. I am just trying to get back what I paid.

I know everyone is as crazy as me and wants to be up close and personal, not everyone can or will pay what I have to do it. I've been told I am stupid, crazy and dumb, so whatever - it's a personal choice. This was going to only be my 2nd time seeing him since the tour started and since I haven't spent money on airfare, tickets or hotels at any other point during this, I felt I might as well treat myself well. Unfortunately, it won't be able to happen.

So, once again, if anyone is interested, please let me know, if not, thank you anyway.

I am selling my tickets for 600.00. As of right now, I can't afford to take a loss on them. Need the money for medical stuff since I don't have health insurance and priorities have made it so I just can't spend the money on fun.

I understand those opinions of someone selling tickets for such a price but I am only asking what I paid. Please don't be mean to me about it and if youre not interested, that's fine. I know not everyone is as crazy about being up close and personal with David like I am.

Again, if you are interested, please let me know. I can throw in some stickers and wristbands with the purchase if that will help!!

Your support means a lot right now -

Kathy

Is there any interest in these Front Row tickets before I put them on Ebay? I would rather sell them outright than go through an auction.

Row A, Seats 12 & 14

Please email me at kathypinaz@yahoo.com if you are interested.

Hi Everyone -

I posted this on DCO also but I have 2 Front Row tickets I am selling for the show on 12/30. They are the last 2 seats on Neal's side of the stage.

I won them on Ebay about a month ago and unfortunately, real life is getting in the way. If you are interested in them, please email me at kathypinaz@yahoo.com. I will take PayPal and will send the tickets Priority Mail.

Thank you,
Kathy

I was told it was a part of a set with the gun necklace Neal wears. Guns & Roses??? Just what I was told but does make sense.

Thanks for posting the link Mary. I am trying to get my pictures uploaded. By the way, I was told by a DJ that David's manager (or stage manager) was not a very nice person. He wouldn't let David sign autographs and was really rush rush, especially since David said he had no other place he needed to be.

Now, when they played him unplugged on the radio later that day, they played "Light On" which he did not sing for us. He performed this for soundcheck. The radio station needed a current song from his album that listeners would be familiar and since he did not perform "Light On" or "Come Back To Me" during the performance for us, they had to use his soundcheck version of "Light On". They were a little surprised he didn't perform either song for us. They said if they don't play something listeners are familiar with, they tend to turn the station.

That's the scoop I got. Hope everyone enjoys the performance, he sounds so good acoustically.

My review of the day was better than this - I posted it under the title thread of the concert. Check it out.

What a day!!! Yesterday was amazing from start to finish. It started out with the Unplugged Performance at 96.9.

First, while waiting in the lobby of the Clear Channel building, who should arrive but Mr. Cook and Mr. Tiemann. They went up to do a soundcheck and those of us who won were taken to a conference room to enjoy pizza and soda. It was really nice except the anticipation just kept rising and it was getting more difficult to just sit and wait.

Finally, they took us into a greenroom where there were (I think) 5 rows of 8 chairs set up, 2 mic stands in front and some recording devices in back. I was in the front row (about 4 feet) right in front of David. I was in heaven. He had a white t-shirt on with black jeans and it looked like new red boots. He looked really rested and even commented on his 2 weeks off. He performed Heros, Lie and Mr. Sensitive. He answered some questions from the fans and was very funny as usual.

We were not allowed to use our personal cameras but there was a professional photographer there taking pictures of each person with him. No autographs but I did get a hug which was so worth everything and anything. The pictures have not yet been posted on the radio station website but I will share when they are. You can also go there to listen to his performance. He is just so pitch perfect and so awesome when he sings. He really needs to put out an acoustic only CD. I got my wish, just David and his guitar singing to me - well, and a few others but I forgot they were even there. I had chills on my arms and tears in my eyes.

My hubby and I drove home to pick up our son for the state fair/concert. After walking around and giving away way to much money on those stupid stuffed animals, we went to the show. The opening act "The Script" was ok. I don't think their music is something I would listen to on a regular basis - was so hoping to see Ryan!!

When David and the boys took the stage it was like a dream. He looked amazing and ready to rock and that he did. Since this was my first time seeing them since the tour started I didn't know what to expect other than what I have seen in videos here. Those do not do it justice. You have to be there live and in person to fully appreciate the performance. Although he didn't perform Avalanche or Permanent, my favorites, I couldn't have asked for anything better (well, maybe for a longer performance of course)!!

He chatted some and thanked us profusely for our support of his music. He said he was going to take the month of December off, with the exception of a couple of events, to support Andrew with his upcoming graduation. He said he needed to be a "bro". That's so David!!

So the last song of the night was "A Daily AntheM" and he actually came down into the audience during the performance. It was quite a surprise and a great one. The crowd loved it and from what I could see, they were pretty respectful.

I hated for the day to end but I will always have my memories of one of the best days yet as a David Cook fan. I don't know what could top it but can't wait to find out. I am and always will be his #1 Fan in AZ!! Thanks David and the Anthemic for the memories!!

QUOTE (what a gift @ Nov 1 2009, 06:58 PM) *
..I am happy for you guys but boy right now I am feelin' quite down.. sad.gif
..have had my life revolve around keeping this radio glued to me.. huge extension cord dragging with it from room-to-room.. everywhwere I go.. trying to do *everything* else while still having this thing on at all times, keeping an *ear* to it at all times.. several days of this now sad.gif
..we, too had several phones going.. 4 actually here in the house.. 2 friends in 2 other homes.. have gotten every number including 23 and 24-- ..I swear, I didn't know this would be the case, but this has all seriously now taken a toll on me.. sad.gif

I am sorry you didn't have any luck. Believe me, our lives revolved around it too. In the bathroom, out to dinner, passing out candy last night, shopping today. It was sad. It really is all about luck and hopefully you will have some either before or after the show at the buses.

Check with the radio station as they may still be having the contest tomorrow.

OMG - my friend won tonight!! We have been trying all weekend with 4 of us calling in and doing everything in our lives around the time when we had to call (including going to the bathroom). I am so happy for her - she would have been the one I took instead of my hubby!! Now I don't have to feel bad or hate my hubby for going....

Ummmmm....that would be ME who is going!!!

My mom won tickets on Thursday. She won't be in town and of course, gave my information to the station anyway. I guess I will be bringing my hubby cause he wants to meet the man who has caused me to drain my 401k account!! No cameras allowed which totally stinks cause now I have to rely on this almost 40 year old memory of this day. No cell phones and no gifts. Pretty strict. I don't know how many people will be there total but I am thinking about 30 or so. I have to be there at 1:30pm.

I will be sure to give everyone a full account of the day on Wednesday. This is the best birthday present EVER!! biggrin.gif

Nope, no info on any meet and greets. I talked to 96.9 and she said they would make an announcement if there was one. I didn't even know they were giving away tickets to the show but I guess they have been.

I don't know where everyone else is....I am sure there are TONS of fans out there who will be going to this.

Yep, you are in the front row!! How exciting. I am in row 3, section A but off to the side I think. I am very excited.

I am a little surprised no one has contacted me regarding the tickets I would like to donate to a needy child.

Can't wait - see you soon!

Shari, HI, how ya doin'??!!!! smile.gif

COOL, soooo glad you are goin'!!!!!! smile.gif

..oh my Gosh we fortunately did GREAT! --got tix in the front row WOOHOOO!!!!!! smile.gif ..we were having trouble deciding which route to go- whether to be in line in person at the Coliseum box office that morning, do online at TicketMaster, or go to a TicketMaster vendor in person-- after talking to some peeps we decided on the last one- we called the Fry's near us ahead of time- they said for SURE their computers would be up and runnin' by 10am that day.. to be there by 9:30.. and they'd 'hook us up'! smile.gif ..so that's what we did and MANNN am I glad it all worked out, I was sooo worried the night before!!! smile.gif

..hey #1FaninAZ! smile.gif ..okay I'm not on here as often as many others, so I'm not quite sure why there is an aversion to DCO, but I have noticed over time that there IS one.. you mentioned you would not go over there for any reason..okay can't help it, have to finally ask-- why do people not want to go over there..? ...trolls or somethin'..?
smile.gif

ANNNDDDDD!!!!!! smile.gif ..does anyone know if there will be a 'meet-n-greet' at all..? ..would sure appreciate ANY info!!!!!!!

..will bake ya some COOKIES, even!!!!! rolleyes.gif

Hi What A Gift:

Glad you got such great tickets - are you actually in Row 1 of Section A???

I don't remember saying I would never go over to DCO but I don't really care for it over there. I just find the people there not to be as "friendly" and willing to help when needed. This is so much more of a community and everyone looks out for one another. Just personal preference really. I have gone over there recently though to get information on the upcoming tours. I am hoping David adds a date in Vegas.

November 3rd is getting closer - anyone getting excited???

Hi All,
I got tickets this morning in the floor section. I am hoping they will be good but you never know. How did you all do? Did you all decide to go?
Shari

Yes, it doesn't upset those of us who purchased tickets though cause we already knew that.

I do have an extra set of tickets that I would love to donate to a charity/organization/church that might know of a child who would like to attend but can't afford to. The seats are reserved seats on the floor. Please let me know if you have any information for me.

Thank you,
Kathy
