The song ''AVALANCHE'' has truly touched every fan of David Cook. It feels like you are hearing the voice of David Cook's heart singing it out. I'm truly a fan of David Cook even though he's too far to touch. Great song!!!

agreeee!! avalanche is my fave! next is heroes! Lie is the song with most raw emotion. you can feel the hurt in his voice and it made me think one time, "why would anyone want to break david cook's heart?!?"

Soooo, I was lucky enough to get like a whole 30 seconds to talk to Kevin Griffin tonight (Avalanche Cowriter) and I told him how beautiful I thought it was! He's really an amazing song writer too, just like David!
 He was super nice and seemed really gracious for the compliment. His face lit up and he was like 'oh yeah! David Cook!"

I have always loved this song. Recently, I have redicovered it and it has now become my favorite. If you can, try to listen to his accoustic version from the Montreal concert, then to his album version. You will be amazed at how beautiful, but different these versions are. They are both amazing! Shows the great musician that David is. I want more!!!
