Hi Everyone!! So glad everyone had a good time -- so sorry we missed you maywee -- the time and jump off strand for the party next Sunday -- day after SNL performance -- will be announced soon, and will have a strand here as well as live chat here on D-C.org. We've been starting at 8PM CST, which sorta catches the most people, but sometimes people start sooner and stay late! Anyhow, keep an eye on the party planning strand in the Announcements and Information forum and we'll let you know where the next party strand will be posted (we're thinking in TV performances, near the other SNL topics, but we'll see where the mods put it!).
SNL is gonna be wild! Go David!

That was great fun last night - I've never participated in any kind of live chat, and that was just the best. Reminded me of when I was 13 and spent hours on the phone w my BF talking about the Beatles and how we loved them.
It's good to be young again.

I agree---that WAS fun, even tho I had to leave early to get to bed. The live chat was great fun once I FINALLY got it figured out...thanks again to Nemo for helping with that!!

Glad to see everyone had a great time on Friday. I couldn't believe that I sat here for about 4 hours chatting with my friends, watching videos, answering David trivia, and drinking wine. The only thing that could have been better was if we were all together in person doing the same thing. As Nemo said, details about next Sunday will be posted soon. Please share any suggestions or ideas you may have.

Aw.... i missed you gals!! ... but I survived the dreaded wedding!! ... anyway ... when's the next party??

Hi dizzy -- We definitely missed you on Friday. Cathryn figured out how to post the YouTube video links on the DC.org live chat, and so we were able to watch videos and talk about them just like we did at the Oct. 3 party. BTW, I feel your pain about the wedding. I realized today that I have a wedding to go to NEXT Saturday night. That's Saturday, Nov. 1, the night of SNL. OMG, I am so pissed. I will not be able to see it live but will have to record it and watch very late Saturday night.

Fun partaaay last night. Had a great time. Four hours just whizzed by. When we are talking about David and watching his videos, time flies. Can't wait for 11/2...Actually can't wait for 11/1...I have set my DVR to record the show before, SNL, and the show after...just to be sure. LOL

I think for the SNL party we should just have a viewing of the SNL clip maybe every 15 minutes or half hour on the dot! Then we can discuss, and then 15 minutes later play it again and again and again. I sure each time SOMEONE will notice something we all missed the first 100 times around

(hey, what? there are going to be people who will miss the first few viewings, so this is just a public service to them, right??? LOL!!!!)

and maybe if the polical sketch is really good we can replay that one once or twice too, just for a change of pace.

And of course we'll have to somehow capture each of the intros and commercial break pics, and, and and
