If anyone is interested in buying one of the Adam Cook Grey Matters bracelets (just like the one David is wearing in the People Magazine couch photo), please go to http://fanssupportadamcook.com.

Travis has approved this topic.

Thanks!

Edited to add: Subject: Re: Adam Cook Grey Matters Bracelets Today at 2:48 pm

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It looks like some bracelets may have gone missing in the mail. If you ordered before June 26th, keep checking your mail this week, and if you don't get yours by Friday, please email me at cwood@nyc.rr.com.

Unfortunately, I will have to start to charge more for the shipping price from here on and start sending the bracelets by insured mail. The bracelets will now be $9.00 and all new orders should include this amount. I sent an email to everyone who ordered after June 26th and anyone whose bracelets were lost, requesting they send an extra $2.50 per order (which covers the insurance fees and higher Paypal fees). The other option is to cancel your transaction altogether, and I will refund your $6.50. This way, if any bracelets are lost in the mail it's on the post office to pay to replace them.

International orders are uninsurable and I will not be able to replace them if they are lost. Please understand that you are taking this risk when you order. Since there is no insurance charge, the cost is the same as the U.S. cost and should cover postage anywhere in the world. If you still want insurance and a tracking number for your order, you will have to pay an extra Federal Express charge. Shipping by FedEx will cost more than the bracelet! Please email me with your location for information if this option interests you.

I was hoping to keep the postage costs low, but I can't afford to pay for lost bracelets myself. They are too expensive! It would be different if I were having them made for $2 apiece, but I send the full contribution amount that goes to Adam as well as the cost of the bracelet with each individual bracelet order and with the postage, it's almost $6.00.

I'm sorry to have to raise the price to include insurance, but I hope everyone understands the situation, and agrees to continue with their orders, with or without the insurance.

I know this sounds like a big pain in the butt, and believe me, it is for me too! But when you finally have your Adam Cook Grey Matters bracelet, you'll be happy! I hope so.

Cathy

I love how since joining this forum, I've gone from 3 wristbands that I've been wearing daily for the past 2 years (breast cancer awareness, livestrong (but it ripped) and the ONE wristband) to three (just got the David Cook Fans Unite Against Cancer one yesterday) and now it's going to be 5 because I ordered the David Cook Rocks one and I'm about to order this one.
Sheesh haha...my arms are gonna be covered! laugh.gif

But in all seriousness, I love supporting cancer research. It hits home for me, so I'm all for it.

In regards to were to put in PayPal form "Adam Cook Bracelet), if no one from the board response, I have reached out to Cathy Wood via email to see where we note this. There is a field for the email address and the dollar amount. If I find out tomorrow - I will post it.

If someone has already done this on the board- please let us know.

Thanks,
Annette

Not sure how to explain this but when you log into paypal and they go into send money-type in the recipients addy, amount to send and then I check other goods or something like that then it says to send money and I click that bottom box which takes me to the 2nd. page and on there it brings up the info, has your shipping address on it, under the shipping address there is something that says Message to Recipient and a rectangular box that says subject above it and in that box is where I would type "Adam Cook Bracelet", then you could always post a message in the big box that says message as well. I hope this helps. Sorry for all the run on sentances. This is what I did when I ordered mine and also when I buy things with paypal I just type it in the subject box.
