I searched for a thread devoted to this talented man and didn't find any. I have enjoyed Nick's music since the first time I saw him play with Andy in Tulsa a couple of years ago. He is not only extremely talented, but one of the nicest guys around. I hope you all will consider purchasing the recording from the Crow Creek Tavern acoustic performance by Nick and Neal recorded on 12/16. I attended that show and was treated to an entire evening of Nick's stellar vocals. The recording from the night turned out amazingly well.

Not a Nick Gibson thread? Shame! He's a brilliant musician, and I would probably love him if I liked country. I do love his version of Hallelujah, though.

I've never heard of Nick Gibson so I went to go check him out on Myspace. He sounds really good. I like the whole southern rock sound he's got going. I do love country so I enjoyed it. I really like the song "I Go Crazy", that sounds like it could be a radio hit.

Not only is he a very good singer/writer, Nick is also an excellent guitar player. He did a great job playing Neal's part along with Andy on some MWK music the first time I saw him. In honor of Neal, he even painted his fingernails, LOL.

Nick took Neal's guitar and played the solo on TIB at the DC&TA show in Charlotte. He did fantastic and was awesome to watch! He almost makes me wish I liked country, but I just can't get into it.

Aww c'mon, give it a shot. There's a bunch of stuff out there that's not so different from rock. Your missin' out on some really great stuff.

I'm going to keep my eyes and ears open for this guy. I'm sure he'll be doing a show here somewhere in the future cause we get a lot of country acts round here.

^ I've given it a chance. I don't mind some artists like Lady Antebellum or Keith Urban, but they're not someone who I'd listen to on my own. JMO. However, if the occasion were to arise, I would support Nick and go out to his show, but I'm not a fan of his recorded music. I would love to hear his guitar work, though.
