You might want to take a look at this:
http://www.david-cook.org/The-Light-On-Rad...ist-t14678.html This is a list of over 400 radio stations I helped compile that played LO at some point (and most played CBTM as well.) Granted, several stations may have changed formats or frequencies or may have even gone dark since the list was first compiled over 2 years ago, but it's a start. There was also our old, once very lively discussion thread http://www.david-cook.org/Anyone-Hear-It-O...Yet-t14105.html that also contained a lot information on radio play for both LO and CBTM. |

For anyone who was/is a fan of Kelly Urich and kcradio.com, you might be interested in checking out some changes in radio here in Kansas City:
As of this morning, 3/28/2011, our local AC station of more than 30 years, KUDL 98.1 is no more. KUDL has been combined with "Gen-X Radio" KGEX, to become 99.7 "The Point", and has changed format to "Bright Adult Contemporary" (Adult Hits). It remains under the same ownership, Entercom, but, now has a very similar sound to kcradio.com, playing current hits, as well as, hits from the past, and starting Thursday morning, 3/31/2011, Kelly Urich will take over as the morning host from 5 am-9 am CT Weekdays. Given that KUDL played David frequently, and that their new HAC/AC format is right in David's current radio wheelhouse, not to mention, that Kelly is a Cook family friend and fan, I expect to frequently hear David's music (and maybe David himself, on occasion, for interviews etc.) on the new station. Check out 99.7 "The Point" here. Edited to correct Kelly's show hours. |

At one point, he announced that he was playing David Cook in 4 min, and went to commercials. When he returned, he played CBTM. At the conclusion of the song, he said that Beth would be happy, because he was playing David's music. He then went on to say that David was the guy who broke the bell at his house, so he then had to say "Ding"! Ah, the old days of KCRadio.com. |
