I know that this a long shot...but does anyone know where or know someone that can come up with some of DC arrangements for some of the stuff he did on idol?? I'm a music major and I'm gonna do a showcase with piano and guitar for when school starts and I want to play some of his peices, but I can't seem to find any arrangements that are even close. I have no clue what key he sings in and if I can just get some tabs and chords for the guitar then I can transpose it to piano....I've started working on the world I know, but I wanted some of his other stuff too...so ANY help would be appreciated!

if you look in the threads for lyrics to his songs, there are some that have the guitar chord progressions as well, you'd be able to figure out the key from there and transposing would be easy

Thanks guys! Delilah Did you figure it out yet? I've written the piano chords for "Light On". Please see the tutorial on you tube. It's not my tutorial. I just wrote what was played. Of course I can't distribute it. You can get free writing paper on the i-net with the "grand Staff". See: www.blanksheetmusic.net. But, after you see the tutorial it will be really easy. I paused and wrote, paused and wrote. I'm going to write "Permanent" next. I'll do this differently. It's more of an "ear" piece. There is a guy on you tube who plays a medley of "lie". "permanent" and "light on". I don't like his bridges between the songs but, otherwise decent ear playing. Since you are a music major, you can add your own Forte and piano marks. DC doesn't sing in any particular key..he plays with chords then fluctuates his voice to extremes of the chords. Sometimes, not even bothering to scoop-up. That's the DC "wow" factor.
