Thanks so much for the recap - I did not make it for the cellcast, wanted to hear it televised tonight - hope they do both songs on tv. I'm so excited that you guys were there and had fun - the cell phone in the drink, Cheryl's hat on DC's head... it's these kind of details we all love! Did anybody get on camera? I'll be looking for some familiar faces... Happy New Year everybody - did you guys stay in Vegas or head home? Be safe!

Yes thanks so much for the cellcast! I may have had to stay up until 4 in the morning to hear it, but it was well worth it, especially being the last David Cook cell cast of this year.

I am so glad there were some fans there to sing along with him once again!

Happy New Year everyone! I can't wait to see David and the band perform on my TV tonight!

And now, a moment of silence for Kim's poor cellphone. I got a drink spilled on me on the Andy side of the room and I wasn't even drinking. People were bumping into me from all angles.

I have to hand it to anyone who stayed up that late for the cellcert. What dedication!

Even though I would have loved to have heard a longer set, I was glad I went to LV to cheer the guys on. Now I'm back in LA and looking forward to watching it on TV tonight.

Wow I'd sure like to have a duplicate of that platinum award! WTG David! I cannot wait until the tour starts in February! Please Please! give us dates I'm waiting in anticipation!

It's me...Cheryl....back from Vegas...barely alive from an absolutely great time!! I have quite a few pictures (believe it or not, I actually took some). I was literally 8 feet front David, front and center....All by myself, I might add, because all my Dash friends decided to sit at a table back away and to the left of the stage..I had to make NEW friends, HA, HA!! HE ASKED FOR MY NEW YEAR'S HAT and wore it!!!!!! He now has my DNA on his head, LOL!

I would NEVER stand (with very sore feet...had to take my boots off!), and be subjected to over 2 hours of the most God-awful music for anyone but David and the EEB!!! Was it worth it??? Need you ask? I am still almost speechless (and this is not normal for me, just ask Amy (dizzyclover)! I think I talked her ear off for 6 hours to Vegas and 6 hours home, but it made the driving go by faster. He is EVERYTHING you all have said...and then some. Totally beautiful man! And the band...Awesome seems trite, but it's the only word I can think of right now! I am very tired.

So much fun to meet everyone, especially Amy (of course, she drove me to Vegas), Jeanine (got us an awesome room), Kim (to whom I owe $10), and Suzanne (who has an adorable daughter). They were all so much fun!

BTW...did not even put 1 quarter in a slot machine (can you believe it?). Dang, I wanted to win some money, ha, ha.

David looked awesome (duh!). Black shirt, tight (yay) black pants, and boots. More bling tonight...a new necklace with red lips ("Kiss on the Neck"). I know I don't have to tell you guys, but he totally owned the stage and had the crowd eating out of his hand. He sure loves that his fans know and sing his songs with him. So cute is his little smile! Vocals were spot on and sounded so good. I was a little disappointed (but not too much), that he sang Light On and Declaration twice each...I would have loved to hear 2 different songs but, what the heck, this is David and I'll take anything I can get and be ecstatically happy!

OMG, I don't think my life will ever be the same. I want tour dates, please....

I am really tired now and can't think. I will upload my pictures as soon as I figure out how, and also write more about the entire experience when I remember everything I have forgotten.

I was a total fangirl last night, and not ashamed to admit it.
