I mainly use Photoshop CS2 for my graphics (sometimes Jasc Animation 3 too for my animations and I used to make lots of graphics/collages on Paint Shop Pro like 4-5 years ago but I totally switched to Photoshop) and it's really great!!
First time, I hear about the Gimp program. I might take a look at it.

I use Photoshop CS2 as well,
 that seems to be the popular choice! I have Paint.net, but I had already gotten used to Photoshop, so it actually seemed harder to use. If anyone needs pointers about Photoshop, I'm happy to help!

I use PS CS3, which is awesome...but I used to use PSP X, which was good as well.
