this is sooooo funny it just needed its own topic!!!! it is a llittle long but sooooo funny!

i am combining info from two threads. so bear with me...

let me get you up to speed...
went to kc concert 8/30. flew from TN with my mom for her 60th birthday party. after ky concert my mom turned into the craziest fan girl ever and demanded to go to kc for her birthday. now she is demanding to go to tulsa...(got tix last night!)

from kc 8/30 thread...
here is some of my info. early during some banter, david says, something like... something just flew across the stage, it was a green disc or something... michael jones did that hit you (not johns, jones the stage guy)
ANYWHOOOOO.... that was my CARD! it said, "david can you wish my mom a happy birthday? all she wanted for her 60th birthday was to fly to kc to see you!" --------------------he didnt but - ANYWAY!

my mom got his water bottle! he threw it, she tried to grab it and dropped it (we were by barricades) and security brought it to her.
so now my mom has the bottle ---------------------- and she wont give it to me! it still has some of his water in it.

so then, on another thread...we were saying how we would all get dehydrated from all this crying and i said....

that is HILARIOUS! now, i have got to go to costco and buy you all water bottles to go with your kleenex...be back in a minute, guys! stay hydrated while i am gone..

you know, my mom does have david's water bottle from the kansas city concert. and he drank out of it. AND it still has water in it. maybe we could make it the community bottle and all take a drink....? ha, ha. she wont even let me touch it. says i can come visit it. GREAT. i have to schedule a supervised visit with david's water bottle. i knew i should have pushed that hefer out of the way to get that d*mn bottle. but it was her birthday.----------------------- *hangs head* --------ok-----------she can keep it.

so because of the water bottle.......
we had to check our bags instead of carry on, cuz david's water bottle had more than four ounces in it. [b](LMAO!) [/b]and it had an american idol neoprene cover on it. and she took it off and put it in her purse and i said, dont you want that to stay with the water bottle? and she said - "I cant risk it getting lost if they lose our luggage - i am keeping it with me!" - such a groupie i have turned her into.

off subject too....on the flight into kc......."mom, what do you like about dave?"
mom says, "his smile, his eyes.....and the lace up pants!"
today, my husband says "look what you have done to your mom!"
(she was jumping up and down telling dad she got the bottle!) soooo cute!

I had to laugh because I found that so absurd. I find it very strange to get all excited over something like that. But, hey...whatever floats her boat. I hope she finds many years of happiness with her water bottle.

that is hilarious ! - many years of happinesss!!!!!
i never thought i would have gotten excited over something like that either! but then it happens to you and whallAh! plus her excitement egged mine on! (she doesnt get out much!)

GASP!!!! I wouldn't have taken the sleeve off - I would leave it in the exact same condition it was in when it left his perfect hand, because I am a freak like that. And I'd have it encased in glass. With a security alarm.
Wondering though.... since he took a drink from it, might it have enough of his DNA on it to clone him???

Hi! I know how your mom feels. I am in my forties and a big fan. I think he catches us by being such a nice, caring
person. He has such a big heart for a 25 year old guy.

My 16 year old wasn't even really a fan, but after 5 shows shows she fights me to get pictures with all of them at the buses!

He threw a water bottle in Philly too, and that's the first thing I said to my daughter-

update....
i got the water bottle for overnight visitation last night. i needed it to take its picture for a joke for a friend. and my mom and i have different schedules, so it had to spend the night to get the job done!!!! LOL!!!
we had a great time....
reminiscing about the good ole times.... remembering the day david threw it to us.....
such memories....so back to moms we go.... i will miss it.....
