This has got to be one of the funniest threads I have read...overnight visitation...have you thought about what to get it for Christmas?? And, of course, your mother is still a young woman (52 myself) but dang she needs to put that thing in her will, the heck with eBay!!!!!!!!!! Or maybe she could throw it back to him in Tulsa!!! (but only if you can get him to promise to give it back!)

it all started when my sign was on the jumbotron at the ky concert...then my friend caught it on her video...
this is from my concert post.....
OHHHHHHHH! i had a sign that said "MY HERO" for that song and one of the girls from this site saw me after the concert and was like "that was your MY HERO sign?" and i said, "you saw my sign?" and a security guard standing by us said "girl, EVERYBODY saw your sign!" they said it was on the jumbo tron. YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

THAT WAS MY FREAKIN SIGN!!!!!my sign looks great on tv. it was born to be a star. i think i will get my sign an agent and start taking some head shots of it. i hope my sign doesnt get the big head or get hooked on drugs. but if so, maybe they can do one of those celebrity "how the music was made" shows or whatever on mtv. i think my sign wants to get breast implants too, to increase its chances of getting a modeling contract or record deal...

three minutes later...

holy sh*t...........david cook just called me and he wants my sign to do a duet with him on his new record. d*mn. i am going to miss that sign when it is a big star. i hope it remembers me when it is a big celelbrity. back in the good whole days, when it was just a blank board and a sharpie sitting in my living room.

maybe at least i will get good seats to its show or maybe even back stage passes.

three minutes later...
you know my sign is going to kansas city with me, and it just told me it wants first class tickets. it is over there sitting on the couch, with some freakin sunglasses on, a martini in its, well, hand i guess, shouting out orders and crap, and listening to "my hero" like the song was wrote for it or something. i hope david knows what he is getting into by agreeing to work with this dang sign on a duet. it is going to be hard to work with, it already has an attitude. but i think dave can whip it into shape if anyone can.

just talked with my sign, and it says it will be giving autographs by the buses, but no pictures. it says it is too busy. (note: have dave have a talk with my sign about supporting/appreciating its fans)

you should totally take pics w/ your sign in outdoor settings. even w/ sunglasses on maybe. too cool.

my sign wants to start a blog as well, dont know if it writes as well as dave though...

it is in the bathroom primping right now, trying to get the right "spike in its hair"

it has written on its hand "vocal rest"

and it says tell you it wants peanut brittle as gifts. i guess its birthday is the day i created it. one week before the show!

cuz i have documented the travels of my sign - by the end it will have attended 4 concerts (3 with me and 1 that my friend will take it to.) my sign is stalking dave. i have taught it well...

i am saving it for after tulsa due to my time constraints and i figure we will neeed something to talk about!

OH NO...did not mean to upset Mom, after all I did say only if he agreed to throw it back again!!
I surely hope she doesn't withhold visitation rights on account of this.

I had read about the sign as well and did find that funny but then he copped an attitude, I certainly hope the water bottle stays more grounded!!!

Sorry about the cat...been there, done that...and it is soooo horrible. I just remind myself of what a wonderful life he had. Now I have another cat and 2 dogs...my place is a zoo

my visititation rights are still intact, thankfully.
the water bottle has definitely stayed more grounded than the sign. but i think it is the fact that the water bottle was actually in david's possession, so some of david's specialness rubbed off on it. the sign has never actually met dave, so it just has an attitude. it has been better since i let it go to kc with me tho!

ok. so now my mom is trying to decide where she wants to go for the solo tour. she went to tulsa with me, my husband, and dad. and is even more hooked than ever.

i think she was the only 60 year old there with a sign. and she demanded that she take a sign. *what have done to this lady?* it said, i flew 900 miles, and she only held it up for david....

now she thinks she wants to fly to california for a solo tour show....she is going to break my banK!!!! i told her david will be coming closer to us ,,,, and since we can plan better we can drive to like three shows... and she is like, but cant we flly somewhere? *oh, me*
