to HAVE WE NO PRIDE. It's actually the chorus to a song I wrote over 20 yrs. ago. Would you believe
it's been published in 3 books and won Editor's Choice Award in all three. I did'nt think anything would ever
come of it though and signed over my rights, dumb huh? Oh well it was a lesson learned.

About my band thing...yea..my friends and i had a quarrel and so the band is pretty much broken up by now...we never had the chance to publish any song though...

No need to be jealous..but i am of you. Can't believe you earned yourself this many awards. Though you're unknown on the certificate...you're still a known excellent artiste to me.

You were actually supposed to get people to vote for your poem but I never told anyone about it until I got the 1st book, mine was actually on the 1st page.

Hate what my ex-friends did to me! But what im doing right now is that im talking to them like average people but not so close to them as before. After they've betrayed me like this, i guess that's the closest i can go to NICE for them.

PS Ive recieved news about the most important exam in my life.
Ive got second place in class for my geography exam. I even snatched myself full marks for the first half of the paper. Thank god and to all on D-C.org who prayed for me.

Im hoping i do equally or better on my other tests!

I'm so proud of you for taking the higher road as far as those "friends" are concerned, show them that you are the better person. But you're right, don't completely trust them again. They've already shown they don't warrant it. I've pretty much learned that outside of your family there are only a small circle of people you
can totally trust. That sounds so cynical, does'nt it? Sorry, probably too many years working with law enforcement.
As far as the copyrighting, it's always best to go to an attorney. There are on-line sites that you can google
but there's some things on-line that are considered public domain. There's also a thing called a poor man's
copyright which generally stands up well in court if ever needed. Mail your work to yourself certified so you have to sign for it and DO NOT OPEN IT!!! This way if anyone does steal it, with the UNOPENED & DATED
certified mail you have proof you wrote before it came out by someone else.
The problem with putting any of your work on-line is that even though they may not get by with using it
almost word for word, there's no law against taking a general idea and running with it. So be careful what
you put on here girl, ok. That's exactly why I've only put up a couple and they are not at all my best. At
the very least, do the poor man's copyright, ok. It actually holds up pretty well, most of the time if not all.

So far I've got My Exam results!!

I got 5 A+'s, 2 A-'s and a C+

Trust me, education in Singapore is tough...really tough.

What you told me about the attorney and copyrighting stuff really confused me.
And i mean REALLY.

Well, about the results...my Ex friends all gt bad turn downs once i quitted their group.
One of them, wanted to get into a Pure Science class.
That is, getting at least a B+ in science to get in the class.
In the end, she got an F.
The others did terribly.
They all failed at least 3 subjects...but me boasting about all this is not good.

Anyways Im reeeely happy!
