What were the Mavid props today?
Apparently David made it halfway through the line, and there were some rude people asking for other Idols..so he went back inside.

I think they said something about a pirate hat and eye patch.

Particularly DC, who tends to have the least amount of available time to even go out to meet the fans. Some people don't get that doing these informal pre-show meet and greets are not an obligation to any of the top ten. They do them because they want to, and fans should be happy with that. But for some people, its just not enough. I was kept away from my chance last month to meet David and I hope I get the chance tomorrow in Providence, and I hope this doesn't affect it. I don't even have tickets, so a lot could go wrong... Fingers are crossed. Hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst! (Right now I'm waiting for Ms Hanna to come along and kick my butt for a few hours, lol. Thank goodness at least she'll be gone by tomorrow!) ~Amy |

There will always be some rude people, I knew some fan of others said "I don't like you" or something similar right into David's face so...(And that person is quite proud of that, can you believe it?)

To be honest. This doesn't seem like something David Cook would do. He's always embraced the other idols and their fans. He's even joked around and was reported to jump up and down like a fangirl when Archie comes outside before.
I dunno. I just can't see our David getting upset and leaving because of this. I'm not saying it didn't happen. It just doesn't feel right. Edited to add totally off topic: What is up with this site the past couple of days. My sidebar avatar has reverted back to an old one I used to use. And my siggy will show up the right size at one time and then HUGE another time. And my word nerd # is gone from my stats underneath my sidebar avatar. Anyone else seeing odd things? |

He knows it is usually him that is requested among other idols so I am sure he is not upset by it, maybe was just time to go in for press or he had to PEE LOL |

I think if it did happen, it would not have been for just a "I don't like you". It must have been very offensive either to him or one of his loved ones, his personal life or something. Anyone have any reports on the weather there? I heard it was not going to be good. Maybe that's why he went back in.
PEE? LOL now that's funny! Also thought Annette mentioned she was taking her laptop with her to keep us updated. Maybe she couldn't take it out in the weather. *checking weather now* Ok just checked the weather in Bridgeport. Appears to be warm with light rain. Definitely not laptop weather for sure. But glad its not the horrible weather that was predicted. |

Ususally when he has to go inside for press, he just runs down the line to make sure everyone gets something from him! I hope everything is alright and it was just the weather. |

Maybe he got halfway down the line and was told he had to go in for something. Someone saw this after hearing him get asked about other Idols, put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5. Who knows? As far as goofy things on the site... If I NEVER see or hear that Pac Man thing again it will be to soon, lol. I have had trouble switching my avi and personal pics and having them show up immediately. It sometimes takes days for me to see the switch. Not a clue why. And I know that Travis did away with the Word Nerd # thing a couple weeks ago because I guess too many people were putting way too much stuff there. |

The lights flicked on and off quite a bit and the winds were just nasty! I was awake when the eye came ashore. I live just to the east of where the eye made landfall this morning. We ended up having more power outages here than anywhere else in the state or even parts of S.C., but there is minimal damage here from what I can tell. |
