Hello! smile.gif

So I decided to make a formal request thread...David Cook is my favorite subject to make graphics of at the moment, and I can only make myself so many signatures and icons. tongue.gif

I've been making graphics for about two years now, give or take a few months. It's my main hobby, so I'd be happy to make you something. smile.gif

I have a few rules...
  1. CREDIT. Please. smile.gif
  2. I won't take any non-family-friendly requests.
  3. I'd prefer to stick to David Cook stuff, but I may occasionally take other requests.
  4. I'd appreciate it if you'd use whatever I make for at least a week. I spend a lot of time on my graphics, so I don't want to see them get used for like two seconds. tongue.gif
  5. Provide pictures if you want something specific...otherwise, you get what you get.
  6. Please don't be impatient...I have a four AP class course load so there may be times when I can't get to requests right away. I will try to get to your requests ASAP, but, unfortunately, real life has to come first.
  7. I may take unusual requests (headers, things like that), even though they're not listed in the thread title.
  8. I reserve the right to post any graphics that I make on request on other forums as parts of galleries, etc.
  9. No animations for the time being.
  10. Fill out the form below if you want something...be specific if you have something particular in mind (fonts, colors, etc.), otherwise I'll take creative control.
Type of Graphic:
Specific Size (if you need it):
Photos:
General Description (if not providing photos):
Text:
Anything Else? (fonts, colors, etc.):

Examples

(Please don't take, most of these are mine personally or requests for other people...except for wallpapers, icons, and CD covers, in which case just let me know that you want to use them.)

ICONS

(Note: I don't take animated avatar requests, they take too long.)

SIGNATURES

WALLPAPERS

(If you want full size, let me know and I'll post a link.)

Headers

OTHER STUFF

I can make you something like this that says whatever you want:

Or I can do album art for iTunes:

Remember, these are only examples and they don't show my full repertoire...if you don't know if I can/will do something, just ask! smile.gif

Oh my word... your work is AMAZING!

Would you mind sending me the full version of the second wallpaper?

Also, would you mind making me a signature and matching 100X100 avatar?

Colors: black, white and pinks
Siggie size: 600 pixel width, 150 pixel height
I would like the signature to have the following lyrics:
When everything's the same and nothing ever changes will you fall back into me?

And here are the pics!

If you click on it again once it loads it gets bigger. smile.gif

ETA: By the way...those pics are awesome...hadn't seen clear ones from Ford Day yet! smile.gif

Hi Kitunen! Your work is very nice! I especially like the circular smudge effect in the wallpapers. Is that done with a texture or by using the smudge tool, or is there some trick I'm unaware of? I appreciate you sharing any of your techniques, I am self teaching graphic design and have found these forums to be one of the best teaching tools I could ever find! Thanks so much! Jordi;)

Hi Kitunen,

Could you make me a siggy and an avatar for Grunge Dave? I'd like to have the siggy say "Your voice was the soundtrack to my summer" and here are the links to my pics:

Stacy and Chels...I 'll try to get your requests done within a day or two. smile.gif

sweetcookie, here's the link to the wallpaper...that particular image was never any larger than it is how I posted it, so I had to extend the canvas to make it suitable for a background...I hope that's fine. smile.gif

Most of the time for the circular smudge I just duplicate the layer with the main image, use a radial blur on it, then use a soft eraser to get rid of the part of the blur that is covering the parts of the picture that I want to stay visible...sometimes I'll mess around with the blend modes/opacity/duplicate it...it really depends on the image though. I get where you're coming from, I'm self taught as well...I'm always trying to piick up techniques from other people. smile.gif

Wow! That's awesome! I've never even used the radial blur tool before! I'm gonna have to play with that! Thanks so much for the tip! If there's ever anything I can do for you don't hesitate to ask! biggrin.gif

Wow! You really are AMAZING!! I wish I had the talent to design such beautiful artwork! THANK you!! I'll probably come back to you to ask for more wink.gif

The only thing is... I asked for a 100x100 avatar, which you made, and thank you... I went to upload it and didn't realize the limit was 90x90.. so it looks squished sad.gif If it would be too much trouble for you to re-do it, then forget it, really, but if it wouldn't take much then I would appreciate it!

Thank you again!
