Do you use textures for your work?
If so, where do you get them? I really like the stuff you do

I usually don't use premade, downloadable textures...most of the time I go to sxc.hu (stock.xchng...it's a free stock photo site.) I search for different things, like abstract light or fiber optic (which is what I've been using a lot lately), scratchy or chalkboard if I want a scratched looking texture, sometimes cement if I want a grainy looking texture, or paper or parchment if I want an older looking effect. Form there I just mess around with different layer modes and see what I can come up with.  When I do use premade textures, I usually go to the texturize community on LJ (just type in texturize on Google and it's the first result I think)...they have tons and are updated multiple times a day...I just prefer to make my own.

I couldn't fit in the black background image without it looking out of place with all of the white background ones...I added in another white background one to compensate for it...if you want me to make one with black background pics instead, just let me know...I won't mind.  i_luv_cook...here are yours!
