Ah me either. I've tried everywhere. I think someone who already has an mp3 of it is the only way to find it. I would gladly pay for an itunes download (99 cents is cool with me) but it's just not anywhere out there. So frustrating!

I dunno - maybe it's just me, but I find this song a bit scary - what does the the lyric " I'm my own regret" mean? The sentiments feel very dark and despairing in my reading of it. It gives me the chills whenever I listen to it.

^It does feel darker than the rest of the CD. This song reminds me of Analog Heart more than any song on the album.

Maybe it's an occupational hazard , being a mental health professional, but the words, "she's my last request/ suddenly everything is taken over" and his control over his life is "taken outta my hands," just sounds suicidal to me. The "speaker" in the song feels he is his "own regret" - does "he" feel that his life is a total failure, and losing the girl proves it and leaves him without any hope?
Very heavy song imo. |
