I would actually love it if the new single was Come Back To Me. It's one of my favorite songs off the album! That and Heroes, both of which would be great new hits.

Quite sure Declaration is going to be the next single!
I like the ENTIRE album! every song hold its own....... But if I'm choosing the sequence of the singles to be released, this is my list (from suitability point of view): 1. Come Back To Me (the song is more soft and relaxed, not as heavy as LO) 2. Bar-Bo-Sal (something hard-rock to show the world the real David Cook) 3. Avalanche (bringing it back down with a very beautiful soft-rock) 4. A Daily AntheM (a song which was entirely written by David is a must for released single) 5. Permanent (if only 6 singles released from the album, this would be the perfect closing/last single for the album) If more singles are released, then Lie will also be one of them! Let's see how close our predictions are!  |

Next single: Declaration The single after that...probably Lie. I'd love that or Avalanche. IF David does a fourth single...probably Bar-ba-sol. |

I have fallen in love with CBTM after listening to it intently over the past two days. I still want Declaration as the next single, but after that I could see CBTM instead of Lie.

I'd vote for Bar-ba-sol to establish his rock credibility to the max.
I think they could simultaneously release Permanent to replace the Platinum Rainbow on the AC charts when it comes time. It does look like Declaration is the chosen one though based on all the performances (which is just fine with me). It's hard to comprehend how every song on the cd couldn't stand as a single. Whatever happened to stations that used to play the entire album. This playing one song to death on these format stations is why I haven't listened to radio since the advent of the cd player. Thank God for the ipod! |

I truly believe that no matter which song he picks for the next single, it will do well! I think every song on that album is great enough to stand on its own!

It is funny, but originally I liked Declaration the most. Because right away you like it. Now with Come Back to me. i was just driving in the car, and I thought, gosh, I like this song. I think this might be the "love" song that people will really like.

I agree with all of you which is the whole darn album is releasable!!! But I am going to really stick my head out here. If and when he releases Avalanche.... it will clean up on the charts. Guaranteed. Just a gut feeling and my gut is usually right on.
