Let me start off by stating that I hate shopping and I hate crowds, so you can imagine how much I really didn't want to go to Walmart today. At least I didn't have to return anything. But while there, I swung by the music department to see how many DCTR's were on the shelf. At first I couldn't find ANY!!!! Then up top I found where they placed the "hot" items. Plenty of Beyonce, plenty of AC/DC, and only ONE DCTR. They either sold out or didn't order enough. There were 5 in the slotMusic section among the dozen or so of Archuletta.

I check every week at out Walmart and they are always sold out.

Well at least we know they're selling...but I too was out shopping today at Target and I didn't see any. I just looked while passing by so I might have missed it, but David is kind of hard to miss...Best Buy did have them though.

I was in Wal-Mart today too and went by the music section to do a little investigating. In the alphabetized section, there were six copies of DCTR that I saw, and on the end, he had two slots with four each, so that's a total of 14. There were a few copies in the slotMusic section also.

I was in my local WM about 10 days ago and they had 85 DCTRs (yes, I counted them!) They were well stocked that day anticipating Christmas shoppers' needs! Some were in the pop/rock section with their own white dividers that said "Cook, David" but there were also plenty on the end cap display for the "Best Sellers."
Tonight I was in Best Buy and there were two sections with about 10 each in them clustered in the "New Releases" section, and then about that many more further down the aisle in the "C" section, but with specially printed shelf tags that said "David Cook David Cook 11.99" on them. |

Yup really good news to hear that DCTR is selling really well. Even here in Singapore where David hardly gets any airplay on the local radio stations (although MTV Asia plays Light On quite a bit).. I've seen DCTR in all the Top Sellers list at most of the record stores that I go to. Plus he's been No. 1 on the HMV store charts for quite some time (was displaced for awhile when Britney's Circus came out, but it went back to No. 1 last week)

i was at walmart yesterday. and there was these 2 girls running to the cd section.. i was there to see if any more DCTR were there.. there was one left.. the 2 girls ran past me and were fighting over the cd. it was kinda funny. they were like yelling at each and stating reasons y they needed to cd more.. so an employee came and said they had more in the back... lol
