No the series started on 2/12, but I believe David's appearance is on 4/9. At least that's how I understand it.

On the E! news interview he was taping it and it said April 9th. I thought it said the show didn't premier until 4/2/09. I'll watch it again to make sure.

Yes Morgan, Free Radio is a comedy series, showcasing the worst in radio-deejaying. I've watched a bit of that series though, and it's wickedly hilarious!

What happens when a legendary morning shock-jock abandons his post, leaving the feeble-minded intern in charge? Carnage and mayhem...but funny carnage and mayhem.

Free Radio is improvised comedy that chronicles the Cinderella story of one dim-witted intern, Lance (played by Lance Krall) who answers his call to greatness by jumping in to host a popular radio show when the real host defects to satellite radio. What follows is a glorious train wreck of botched celebrity interviews, on-air tantrums and generally lovable buffoonery.

The twist? Lance's hosting effort is so spectacularly awful, that ratings actually go up. This, of course, forces his frustrated manager, James (played by Brian Huskey) and co-host, Anna, (played by Anna Vocino) to put up with him for the sake of the ratings. The new show, "Moron in the Morning" continues to be a fan favorite.

Completely improvised, Free Radio offers a fresh alternative to the typical sitcom, showing just how far real A-List celebrities will go to tolerate a complete moron. In season one, Hollywood luminaries from "24's" Kiefer Sutherland to "Heroes'" Jack Coleman and comedy legend Ray Romano are subjected to the idiot storm that is Lance and "Moron in the Morning."

Forget "24," when is the sequel to "Flatliners" coming out? Will "Spiderman" be joining the cast of "Heroes?" Hey, isn't it time that Ray Romano played a serial killer? Only one show digs deep for the answers to these questions.

While runaway celebrity interviews make up the bulk of the show, Free Radio also goes behind the scenes to depict our loveably dim hero's struggle to deal with his newfound fame and earn the respect of his co-workers.

Hey you guys! I just saw a commercial on VH1 for that semi-"off" talk show called "Free Radio" -

(I've only seen bits and pieces of it in the past, and the male anchor( I believe his name is Lance) for the show is just.......wierd.....but that's beside the point blink.gif )

Anyways, he was only on the commercial for a brief 10 seconds or so, just to show a clip of him smiling/laughing, and then the male radio anchor asking him....something rude, like "Do you have/like any girls that you want to "plow"..?", and then David replies while sipping from a cup, "...this is really uncomfortable"

All I know is that it starts April 2nd, I believe. I just hope the anchor doesn't get totally rude, because that kind of upset me when I saw David's reaction unsure.gif , but I'm sure he'll be fine, only because that show is "off" anyways, so he had to know prior to going on that it wasn't going to be a 'normal' interview rolleyes.gif

...Hopefully it turns out just fine.....what are your thoughts?

I was reading about the show on other threads and I was afraid it was going to be something nasty like that. I know David's a really nice guy and I doubt he appreciates that kind of thing. Hopefully there will be a little bit of relevant information. Maybe I can stsand to watch it. Got the DCVR set.

I've seen this show before (not with David on it of course) but other episodes. It is kind of funny (it's called Moron in the Morning) and not sure of the interviews but the behind the scenes stuff is scripted. I'm sure since this is the second season most of the celebs on there know how these interviews go. I can tell you he won't ask the same boring questions! LOL
