i met david cook at the american idol concert in san jose on 7/8. i was hella funny how i met him. I saw on the internet that they were doing meet and greet, but you had to go to the venue like 6 hours before and stand in the sun, for 3 hours. JOY! i begged my mom to let me go then, but she said no. I kept looking around to see if there was any other way to meet him, and i found that they come out after sometimes. My mom said she wouldn't mind staying after. after the show, we walked around the hp pavilion about 3 times looking to see where they came out after. We looked inside the stage area and there were like 30 ppl inside, sitting there. They all had backstage passes. My mom was like "hey look, they have passes." So she walked around and asked a bunch of ppl how to get passes. They all said a friend of a friend or someone at work. then as we were about to leave, some guys said there brother was in the band and they had to leave. They gave us their passes. YAY! sadly, i had to pee the whole time, xD. If you ever go to a david cook/american idol concert and don't want to wait for six hours, don't be shy, ASK!!!!! it may pay off. ^-^.
