Just as it said in the description, what is the weirdest place you have seen something about David....as in he just randomly pops out?

Not so much weird, but a surprise. The other night I was tired but still listening to music, BAD IDEA because I ended up falling asleep with my iPod still on! At 2:30 a.m I woke up and started hearing music, I was like blink.gif where is it coming from until I heard David Cook's voice and look on my bed and found my iPod.. Yes David you woke me up from my sleep tongue.gif

The song was "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" which is why it took me a while to recognize.

So what random/weird place has David Cook showed up for you? tongue.gif

blink.gif I seriously had exactly the same experience..
I was still listening on my iPod while i was in my bed.. and.. I fell a sleep, and woke up at about 3 o'clock, and I heard music.. And I was also like.. where is that coming from.. And.. the earplug was like right next to my head.. tongue.gif And I also had David on.. I think it was Bar-ba-sol. tongue.gif

Ok, two really weird occurances...

First, I was on ratemyprofessors.com trying to figure out which teachers I should take next semester when I see an advertisement for David's Declaration tour on the side of the page!!!

Second, I was doing some "wedding planning" (HA! I'm only 19 and I don't even have a boyfriend, lol), researching wedding photographers when I came across a wedding photographer who rents out photobooths. I looked at some of their sample pictures and it had a picture of David inside one of their photobooths!! I guess that's what happens when you live in Tulsa! tongue.gif

I of course have a bunch of David Cook songs on my Ipod/Itunes and my husband and I share it so he has some DC songs on his Iphone. The other day he put it on the speaker dock to listen to it and my 2 yr old starts saying....DAVID COOK DADDY....DAVID COOK DADDY!!! (I have somewhat brainwashed him..just a little) My husband could not figure out why he was saying that, only to find out that when he sat it on the dock it was a David Cook song that was up on his phone and my son saw his picture!!! HA! laugh.gif

I was watching CSI Miami tonight and already had David on the brain because of the canceled shows. All of a sudden, one of the characters says "I make heroes, not broken stars." Of course, I heard Heroes and associated it with David. tongue.gif

A couple weeks ago, I set a manual record on my DVR because there was a basketball game coming on and I knew they wouldn't be on when the DVR said they would cause you can't time sports, ugh. So I switched over to the channel and my program wasn't on so I start rewinding the tape to see why it wasn't and I catch a glimpse of a guy wearing a beanie, singing, and holding a guitar and I was like, woah what was that, it was David. I forgot about them usng Heroes for the SEC & ACC March Madness montages. I thought they were just gonna play it in the background, but they had a whole video of him and the band singing it, which it didn't show them the whole time, but it showed the whole song and I was so happy, so that made up for my programs coming on, lol. I cut it off and saved it since it didn't tape the whole 4 hours I set it for, so I can watch it all the time!

I was waiting on line for the Carlisle show to start and went into the ladies room at the student Union. I sat down and looked up and there was a poster announcing David's show! laugh.gif BTW, I took it with me!

My dad and I were buying some cookies (haha...no pun intended) tongue.gif at Arby's, and, when they gave them to us, the bag said "David's Cookies." The bag is now on my wall. tongue.gif

Yeah! I love when you see someone with a "I (heart) DC" shirt. I alwaysd start laughing, and whoever I'm with will be "What's so funny?" and I'm like "Oh, nothing..." and they think you're crazy.

Heh. I think it was a DC Comics sticker, but I instantly thought of David when I saw it, and it amused me for a while.

I was in Alaska (for a cruise from Vancouver) and was in a store called Del Sol. When I walked in, I heard a familiar tune but I couldn't quite put a finger on it at first. Not even 5 seconds later, I realized that it was David's cover of Eleanor Rigby!! I basically flipped my lid, squealing to my Mom: omg! It's David Cook!! I was firstly surprised that they were playing David in Alaska. That and the fact it wasn't even one of David's own songs, not to mention a single. A few times on the ship they were playing LO and TOML, so that made my vacation even more happier than it already was! biggrin.gif

Not exactly, David, but...I was in the kitchen baking, had the little TV on in the other room and I hear a familiar song. On the soap "One Life to Live" there was a high school choir, singing "TOML". Neat how his song has made it to the soaps!

I have to share this...

I took my dad out for lunch today for Father's Day and while we're talking, I look over at the table next to us and watch as another dad opens his father's day gift from his teenage daughter. Much to my surprise, he pulled out of the bag his very own copy of DCTR! I thought it was pretty dang funny. What a lucky dad...and a smart girl!
