Their performance of Little Lies was amazing. Today was just a good morning for television - Idols of GMA and David on Regis & Kelly.
Yeah that was funny, David did look like he was eyeing the cake. I can't blame him, it looked good. |

Little Lies was amazing! Neal's guitar solo rocked and I loved Andy on the backing vocals. I'm not really a fan of Kris (although I do like his voice) or Adam, but they both performed the song well and David shone throughout the entire performance!! CBTM was gorgeous and on an added shallow note - I adore David's shirt, he looked gorgeous! |

THANK YOU DAVID & BAND FOR A FANTASTIC NIGHT AT NOKIA!!!
I just got back from an incredible 2 days with David Cook in NYC. Even though the wait at the back of a line over 3 blocks long was a pain in the butt, the concert was SO worth it. David was still in great form for GMA, even though he looked beat. He had a whirlwind of appearances and had to be tired! David was definately the featured artist at today's show... he seemed to get the most air time, which made me happy. We got to see [in my case 'hear', because I was already staged on the side of the stage!  ] the sound check of David, Kris & Adam. David & Kris were laid back and casual whereas Adam looked 'polished', all sharp in his vest with his hair combed back showing off his eyes. Me personally I preferred David & Kris's look!  I didn't arrive until 6am and there was no way I was getting anywhere near the front. I had an email invite from GMA and found out that all it is, is an invite to be part of the show. All the fans you see throughout the show are "staged" during the weather and different segments! For the roller coaster segment with Melissa, they pulled young kids from the people who had email confirmations. For the segment on those high heels that supposedly are comfortable (NOT!), they pulled young ladies with shapely legs to model the shoes and had a bunch of us, all ages, with our signs staged in back of them. We were told to smile and look animated! LOL! I was wandering around Central Park after the concert was over and saw 2 unmarked 'tour' buses , so I wandered over and saw David & his band leaving the back of the band shell. I tried to get my camera up, but there were small custom vans waiting for them and they never came out to the big buses. POOP! There were about 30 fans hanging out and saw him. He and the band gave shoutouts and waved, then drove away. The windows were tinted, so you couldn't even get any photos.Bette B. |

My DVR crapped out on me, dammit. Poor David he looked so tired, yet he seemed energetic, I don't know how the poor guy does it. I watched the vids on you tube, ABC froze on me. I like Little Lies even if the other guys were with him, David kept over singing them though, lol, tee hee, go David. I guess the new guy is ok, but he's a lot older than David and the EEB, don't know if we can really call it that anymore though, without Joey.

I attended the concert at GMA!
I love Adam and Dave. i arrived around 6 AM and was really far (well at least it looked). So i was all bumed that i wouldnt be able to see and stuff. When we were let in i saw all the people pooring in but when i got in i was only 15 people back. I was sooooo happy <3 i loved the sound checks, he thought we would be sick of his beautiful voice! hearing/seeing come back to me sooo many times loud just made me so happy. Little Lies was amazing, my dream was always to see david and adam perform together. On my birthday my dream came true. it was the best possible way to celebrate my birthday! oh! my brother was top 50 in american idol. they had sing off and his sing off was agianst Kris Allen. During the sound checks for kris and adam my parents held my brother up. as they held him up he shouted adams name and adam recognized him and waved and smiled and mouthed his name. which was just AMAZING! then when kris came on my parents held him up agian! Kris saw him and yelled into the mic his name...KENNY! (kenny hoffpauer) which i thought was pretty cool, in front of all those people he said his name. hehe |

My recap of GMA...
Do you know how cold it is in NY at 3 AM? VERY. We take a taxi over to central park, and get in line. We talk to these four other DC fans that were right behind us and these two others in front, and they were super nice, and made the next 5 hours go by fast. So, at 5:15, we start to go in, rightt as Kateland was about to leave to go to the closest bathroom, which was four blocks away at this gross convenince store. Fortunately, the line started moving before she left, and we made it in! Yay! It took FOREVER to get in the park, but we finally did. We were on the third row after the VIP, (so like, sixth row) in front of Neal. And watching them do soundcheck and goof off, so cute! I loved it. I love them. And guess who found me again? Andy! He looked at me a lot during GMA tooo! I got two more pictures of him looking in my camera. Awwww ♥ I love Andy so much. For the longest time, he's rivaled David in the how much I love them competition, but I'm honestly not sure who's winning currently... Andy got major points for staring at me half the concert, and again at GMA. Though, he kept coughing, while they weren't playing, and I was like AWWWW ANDY! And at one point, I read his lips saying "I don't have my voice." Is Andy sick!? Awww. D: He was tired too, and let out this huuuuuge yawn. And I can't go into detail about all the adorable things they did, but it was awesome. They soundchecked CBTM twice or so, and Heroes once. Also, Little lies a couple times. It was cute, David was teaching it to Adam and Kris, and Kris at one point raised his hand to ask a question. lol! How cute. And I'm obviously a HUGE David fan, but out of Adam anf Kris, before GMA, I'd pick Adam, but afterward, not so much. Adam was disappointing. He was shy, not NEARLY as pretty as on TV, and the song he sang was not good. D: I don't like Kris's voice so much, but he's better live than on TV, unlike Adam. :\ So I left GMA being more of a Kris fan than an Adam. And possibly more of an Andy fan that David... Am I awful? Anyways, it was AWESOME.
