Alright so, I found out yesterday that David is schedualed to perform on the Good Morning America Show on August 7th. [[Along with Adam Lambert and Kris Allen]]
But then I did some research-- checked some LiveJournals, ect-- And I found this listed as a New Tour Date-- Nokia Theatre, Times Square, NYC - August 7th ...Am I blind? Or am I just confused. Is that the same thing? As far as I know, the Nokia Theater isn't where the GMA show is held. So is David playing two shows that day? Or is one of the listings fake? I would really like to know. Somebody help me out. I'm racking my brain right now. Thanks ahead of time! |

GMA is in the morning and the Nokia at nite?? He prob won't sing more than 1 song on GMA, and do we know that he is going to sing on GMA? |

The Nokia date is 8/6 - the night before the GMA appearance.
Rumor has it that tix go on sale 6/27 for the Nokia, but I haven't seen any official confirmation of that yet. |

From what I've read/understand...David and the guys are at the Nokia Theater in NYC on Aug. 6th, and then the following morning(Aug. 7th) on GMA. Someone here mentioned that they called the Nokia Theater, and they said tix will go on sale on June 27th. Again...nothing written in STONE here. The date isn't up on the Nokia website yet either. I'll be keeping an eye peeled for ALL of this info!

Nokia is 8/6 and the info is posted on ticketmaster.com
next morning is GMA and I agree, he may only do one song, if any at all. I heard that last year Jordin was on with the David's and didn't sing at all, just passing on the torch.... I'm not sure I want to be at Central Park by 6am for one possible song, I will just set my dvr.... But you bet anything I'm trying for Nokia, it's only a few blocks from work

gma concerts are ALWAYS on fridays. the nokia concert is august 6 at ntie and GMa is the following morning

It sucks that they've scheduled the Nokia date as late as they did. I was waiting for him to schedule dates so I can plan my trip to the US around his show, and I ended up adding California to my trip especially to see him. If I knew he'd be playing New York on the 6th, I would've arrived early (I land in New York on the 9th) and seen him then instead of making that 5 days detour to California (the original plan was east coast only for this trip)... Now I wish I didn't already book my flight. I would've gladly done New York as well.
This is upsetting. First the free GMA show, then this. My rotten luck.[/end whine] Sorry about that. This would be my first ever trip to the States and my first time seeing David. Wanted to do more than one show but it was just not possible within the context of the trip. So it's a bit upsetting to know I could've done New York too... |

Didn't see a thread for this so I'm making one... But I'm going! I'm flying up from South Carolina, and going to Good Morning America the following morning. I'm super excited about this!
