Hello!
I was reading something here and someone posted a song ADAM. I know it's an abbreviation for a song, but which one? All I could think of was A Daily Anthem, but it can't be since it's only ADA.  |

ADAM is a A Daily AntheM .... they captialize the M at the end of AntheM so it spells ADAM =]

Ohhh, that's what I thought but I thought I was just desperate to find out what ADAM standed for.

David specifically titled the song A Daily AntheM in honor of Adam. The fans call it ADAM for short, just like CBTM, LO or BBS.
 ETA: Here's where this came from  David's old blogs! "Tuesday, September 12, 2006 Just your garden-variety, everyday update... So...I started doing some pre-production on some new songs tonight. Got one completely mapped out. The working title is "A Daily AntheM" (yes, the letter capitalization has some importance.smile.gif ) Lots o' work to be done, but given that a new song from the David Cook camp hasn't been unveiled since the album release, I figured it to be relatively important. Important enough to let you in on, anyway.... hope all is well with you and yours. ~David" |

Because that's his brother's name, who recently passed. I think in part this song was for him, because it's an Anthem. So it's not confusing, it was a tribute to his brother. That's why he had the AC on his guitar. His song Permanent, was written for his brother.
