Heard he is going to try out a couple new tunes on us. Hopefully his "fans" won't absolutely love them based upon the fact that they are his. Hopefully, he will get the objective feedback he is probably looking for. I am looking forward to hearing them.

I understand what you mean, Jeannine. I do love everything of David's no matter what, but I do try to be honest about the songs, and hopefully we'll be able to maintain our composure and give some semi-unbiased criticism lol.

I am sure he will ask the fans Sat night what they think of the new tunes. As far as being bias to the thumbs up or down?... That's a toughy. I am hoping as a group we give him the feedback he is looking for. Hmmm... so who do you think will be there Sat? I have an idea who it might be. |

Heading to Wrightwood this morning to see Crash Kings (one of my very favorite bands) perform this afternoon and then more music slated tonight by an awesome band called Shades Of Day at a great pub/music venue called Molly Malone's. Busy couple of days ahead. Jeannine |

Crash Kings, who are one of my favorite bands too, came to Charlotte, NC about a month ago, but I couldn't get in the venue because it's 18+. And two weeks from now, they're coming to Columbia, SC, but I can't go because it's 21+. Sometimes it sucks being 15. Okay, sorry I just needed to get that off my chest. Continue on... |

Bummer, Olivia. Bet you will be glad when you hit that magic age of 21. You would have enjoyed the show today. It was outside at this ski resort right where people ski. The boys did a great job and it was a free show. We had a lovely time enjoying the music and talking to them afterwards. Very relaxed. It wasn't too overly cold although a storm is coming in there tonight. Upper 40s and nice except for a wind that would blow from time to time. Jason always likes to play drums with bare feet and he almost froze his feet off, LOL. To tie this into Mr. Cook and friends, I told them that I saw that they played Tulsa recently and that I had been to The Flytrap last week to see MWK. They told me they do miss those guys. I think they got along well. Off to go see another band tonight and leaving in the morning for Morongo. I'm getting too old for this, LOL. Jeannine |

Why did David have to introduce me to so many great bands when I can't get into the venues to see them?! lol! The Crash Kings show seemed really cool, too. (Both senses of the word cool) Though I'm surprised Jason didn't have frostbite! Haha. And aww, I wish DC&TA and Crash Kings would go on tour again... I didn't get a chance to see them together when they were touring with each other, and that would've been a great concert. Especially since poor, little young me hasn't gotten a chance to see Crash Kings yet. One day soon, though! Hopefully. |

I saw Crash Kings in concert "loved them". They really are good. I would have gone to see them if I knew they were in town. I haven't seen Shades Of Day. I hear they are also good. My galfriend went to see them. She said they were very good. Lead singer is awesome. The gals are going to leave for Morongo tomorrow afternoon. We are soooo hoping the rain holds off. We looking forward to David's concert. Getting the feeling its gonna be some concert! Heard that Adam Lambert is going to be at Pechanga. I am not sure if this is a rumor or not I have not checked to see if this is true. Okay off to get ready for tomorrow... I will stop by your row and say hello... will be nice to meet. What a whirlwind couple of days! Yes, the lead singer of Shades of Day is amazing. The entire band is pretty tight. A couple of the guys from a band I have known for several years, The Northstar Session, were there to show support. They are the reason we ever met Shades Of Day in the first place. I love how you find out about other music from the people you already, know. Gosh, through David, I have gotten to know Andy's and Neal's music, Burn Halo, Phil Marshall, Bryan Jewett, Crash Kings....the list keeps getting longer. So much music, so little time....but what a way to go, LOL. As for Crash Kings, they will be back eventually. This is their turf here in LA. They put on one heck of a great show. Great meeting you. Glad you found me in my row. We really enjoyed the show. Jeannine |

I very much understand when you talk of networking from one person to the next. Its super how everyone somehow intertwines with each other. Looking forward to seeing the Crash Kings again - Yes please, let me know when they will be playing locally again. Glad we met... had a super time at the concert as well as after. Lets stay in touch. YouveBeenCookified Olivia Still don't know when Crash Kings will be back, but we are in for some fun here pretty soon as both GRO and Ryan Star will be in Southern California. I absolutely love Ryan. He is one of my favorite performers. Those GRO boys put on a great show as well. They are so much fun. So, good times ahead with them coming plus my usual favorites. They all keep me busy and I love it. Jeannine |

PS: working in that other performance we chatted about.. waiting on the ok. YouveBeenCookified Olivia LA and vicinity dates... MWK 3/25 (LA) Burn Halo 4/1 (Anaheim) 4/3 (Bakersfield) Ryan Star 4/12 (San Diego) 4/13 (LA) H.I.M plus We Are The Fallen 4/21 (Anaheim) 4/23 (LA) GRO 5/6 (LA) I have additional dates of another band I support, but I guess I have "off topiced" this enough for one day, LOL. LA is having a great run of music in the next several weeks. I love it when friends of the boys have shows here. All deserving of attendance. Jeannine |

I'm going to see all of the bands you've listed, only at their San Francisco dates. Can't wait! Hi Olivia, btw! |

Still jealous of LA and all it's good concerts. Oh, how I wish I lived in a bigger city. Though I'm getting to see NeedToBreathe and Ryan Star in April. Ryan is a fantastic performer, I love his concerts. And the one NTB concert that I made it to was great, but I didn't know the music very well. Shows are always better when you know the songs, so I'm eager to see them again. The rest of March needs to pass by quickly!

Getting worn out, but it is very exciting to hear them talk about the new music they are working on. Jeannine |

Yes, we are lucky to have an amazing array of local talent and streamline bands praising our stages here in Cali. I am one to hear to listen to the up and coming as well as the bands that have made it. Its up to "US" as the music lovers to attend these performances. The more we see and know of these bands, the more we give the bands a chance to make it. Support them folks. Trust me, they know who works for them! One voice never stands alone.
