will the new album be a self-titled album? i was just wandering because now he has named his band, if the new album is going to be named DC & The Anthemic..

I think he said in some interview that he's been thinking about names for the album. I don't think it will be called "David Cook and The Anthemic."

I'm really hoping he comes up with a great new name for the album!
 Though I don't think he would self title it again, it has been done in the past by, I believe he said, one other artist. Self titled all of their records!  To me, that's like George Foreman naming all of his kids "George Foreman"!!

Nope! I serisouly serisously doubt it! no one ever really names an album the same thing, I dont think David would follow that trend, it would be weird having them all the same name :\. All of the Amercian Idols have to self title their albums, part of the AI contract, so I dont think he would have self-titled it anways if he would have had a choice. They self title it when they are just starting out so people recognize them easier by name. I guess The Anthemic could be a possiblity, but again I doubt it/hope not. I wanna see something more creative ^^

Well, at least we now know who will be producing it....Matt Serletic.
Guess they are heading to the studio at the beginning of June. Hope they take their time and put out an amazing product. This is the CD that counts. Jeannine |
