I am a fairly new DC fan. Found a delightful young lady through facebook who sold me on David and an older fan too. How could I not be a part of supporting him. He is someone to be so so proud of! He has everything you need to love in a musician! When you can play and sing and have relevance/charectar and still look increadiable while you are doing it, you can't go wrong. Do not get me wrong, I had him on the top of my ipod constantly but never really knew alot about him. Yes, kc area fans, shame shame shame on me. I respect my friends for thinking Bon Jovi or Brett Micheles (who is amazingly strongwilled!) is legend and I agree to some extent. However, Davids amazing charectar and talent together make him undeniable to me.

I am married, have a teen, moved recently (missing Zona Rosa) and have a horrid job I wish I had never taken. LOL. I love Art and History, working on the degree of the latter hence the job for paying it off. I love Rock music as my existance. Not heavy metal so much althouth some I do love. I love Alternative and rock and am obsessive with it. My husband and I share a love for Blues music, but not as much so as my husband does. I love animals and dogs, have three. I love movies and use netflix extensivlely. LOL My favorite movies are Notting Hill, Moonstruck, French Kiss. Mostly Chick Flix..lol. I am NOT a Twillight lover at all. Although I love the Twilight books. I am not a big action movie lover. I am big big mystery movie lover.Love historical movies, Elizabeth, Partiot, Young Victoria, ect. Love historical type books, my book of influence is the Art of Happiness by the Dalai Lama, and Blink. I'm not really religious at all. Have a husband that is a cancer survivor. Love Charity work. Love to cook. Was never really good at cooking and decided to learn how and having fun learning. I love Kansas City and St Louis so the Royals and Cards are dear to me and no I never choose sides although nothing like being in the Cards stadium on a cool summer night with homeruns and beer and dogs! I suppose that is enough for now. Glad to keep finding new ways to find David Cook fans. I think David is talented , sexy, compassionate , down to earth, midwestern, trendy, intellectual, passionate, and I just love him. I say this, I know someone who is a celebrity and his family and friends are embarassed to know him most of the time its so sad. For David, I see clearly, his family, friends and fans will never have to be embarassed, hide or even deny that they know him or are his friends or that they have met him or are his fans. I love it! I am a proud DC fan and want to proclaim it.

New Cookie fan, you are not alone. There are several of us who have met, email, and get together in the kck and kcmo area. Dave has given us more than great music, a hero, and renewed passion- he has given us great new friends!!!!! He is THE MAN!
