[Indiana Girl]

Many of you have wondered or maybe you haven't wondered why I haven't answered your emails but this has been some terrible and wonderful months.
Last April I sold my home of 53 years, where I raised my children. I closed on the loan late in June. I imediately went to LA for 2 weeks came home on a Friday, finished packing on Friday and moved on Saturday. While I was gone to LA my wonderful daughters and my sister had every thing painted, carpets cleaned and ready to move. I lived in my condo for two weeks and on the 17th of July 2010 I had a stroke. I was in the hospital 6 weeks where I had many complications. I'm doing better now but it's been a long and grueling struggle. I can do some of my house work (very little) as I have a cleaning lady come in every 3 weeks. I cook meals, go to therapy and shop with my daughter some. I spent the whole month of March in KC with Beth. Susie was in Fla so I went to Beth's.
I know how fortunate I am as I had no crippling or slurred speech. I just have some numbness and hot and cold feelings on my right side. As I said before I am one lucky person and I guess God wasn't ready for me. I wasn't ready either as I have a lot of music and a lot of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren to contend with.
Sorry I didn't let anyone know before but I didn't know what road I'd be going down before this eased up. I just started driving about 3 weeks ago. I was a little nervous but it's like riding a bicycle.
