Ok, so I'm sure many of you are aware that "This Loud Morning" is now streaming on AOL Music:

So now that we've heard it, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Favorite track? Least favorite track? How does it compare to DCTR? Did he meet expectations? Was it worth the wait? Does it have platinum potential?

Discuss.

I really love it. I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan, but as a music lover the album is great. He really made something that has a well rounded story, great melodies, and I think really pushes his creativity. My favorite is still Paper Heart but I enjoy all of the songs. I can't wait to get my CD and record.

I totally agree. This album is truly something special.

"Paper Heart" is definitely my favorite, with "Circadian" and "Right Here, With You" also being standouts for me. The guitar solo in "Goodbye to the Girl" is awesome.

If I had to pick a least favorite track, it would be "Fade Into Me". I found the lyrics to be a little too sensual in a slightly corny way, but that's just me.

Other than that, I love his creativity. TBTB seriously need to grow some brains this time around and make "Paper Heart" the next single if they really want to give this album a chance of kicking butt on the charts.

I think Goodbye To The Girl would be a monster hit. It gets my vote for the next single.

My favorite is Goodbye To The Girl. Extremely good piece of work. Highly sophisticated writing, IMO, both musically and lyrically. Even though many are not fond of Right Here With You, I can hear Ryan's influence on this song and find it quite good. The vocals go places I'm not expecting and find that a breath of fresh air. As to whether David can hit the notes consistently live remains to be seen. It will be interesting to find out.

Over all, it is a pretty good CD. Would I like more variety? Probably. It is, IMO, a step in the right direction compared to the first CD. I'm happy at the band participation. They are quite talented and I think they did a good job. Now we wait for the numbers.

I love the new vibe of it! I have to say my favorite songs are Circadian, Hard to Believe and The Last Goodbye smile.gif Rapid Eye Movement is up there too.
I find it very relatable and it has a great story and meaning to it. The whole falling asleep and waking up dreaming essence of it really hits home with me.
His thoughts on time, wanting to freeze it sometimes and other times speed it up is so close to me it gives me shivers.
All in all stellar album, can't wait to hear it live wink.gif

P.S Paper Heart and Right Here, With You are also amazing.... too hard to choose!
I have to agree with DC_fan_from_DC though, Fade Into Me is my least favorite.
