My 500th post!

It only too me 3 months. Geez, feels like forever but I finally made it!

Just wanted to celebrate a little bit!

Ok, that's all, as you were (DC-obsessing, I'm sure.)

I saw a guy trying to sport the "Cook Look"

At the mall yesterday, while waiting to go see The Dark Knight (which was awesome, duh!) my roommate and I spotted a guy in the food court that definitely looked like he was trying to pull off our Cookie's look.

His hair was blonde but the bangs were pushed forward and to the side. He was wearing a blue button-up shirt with a vest (!) on over it, fitted jeans and... cowboy boots!

Now, I live in NC which is the south but this guy didn't look like he was wearing cowboy boots cuz he was going two-stepping any time soon! He also had a little tummy like Cookie, but, personally, he wasn't cute like our man. I seriously doubt this guy was rocking this look before three months ago. But hey, maybe he was!

He also had a friend with him whose style resembled Andrew (jeans, t-shirt and converse).

Has anyone else seen guys who seem to have recently adopted the "Cook Look"?

My Analog Heart tribute

I've never worked with wire before but this idea for Analog Heart related "jewelry" came to me and this is what I came up with: Two pendants of the AH cover art made with wire, slightly different styles. I'd love to give one to David (if I ever see him) but I'm not sure what he'd possibly do with it, even if I put it on a nice ball chain necklace. I couldn't see him wearing it but I made them with him in mind.

Anyway, let me know what you think! I'm happy with how they turned out.

The Dark Knight

I CANNOT wait for "The Dark Knight" to come out on Friday. I haven't gotten midnight show tickets but I'm definitely making my bf and roommate go to a show on Friday!

I absolutely loved "Batman Begins" and it looks like this sequel is going to go above and beyond.

Christian Bale and Heath Ledger will be great, I just know it. I know my heart will be heavy while watching Heath's last full film but what a way to celebrate his life by seeing this movie.

Anyone else excited about this movie? Don't post spoilers but I'd love to hear reviews once it comes out!

A musician on YouTube who I think is great!

The following video featuring OLP's "Somewhere out there" was posted in a fanfic so I can't take credit for "finding" him but I continued to watch a lot more of his videos and I think he's great! His name is Cory but his screenname thing is Crtl-Alt-Rock (get it?) He's got some loyal youtube subscribers but I don't have an account so I went to his myspace: www.myspace.com/ctrlaltrock7

I think his original stuff is cool too, especially "Save You". I had to download it. I don't know any more about this guy than what I've found online but I just wanted to share.

He's also a baseball fan (like DC) so woo hoo! Ok, just go check him out.
