Analog Heart Copy

Hello everyone! I have a copy of Analog Heart that a friend made me, and I wanted to take it to the Idols show to have it signed by David, if possible.

I could have sworn I read on here that he told a fan he does not care if we share his cd with each other since it is no longer available? And I think something was also said about the outrageous costs on ebay for it?

Mine is just a homemade cd with a cut out of the Analog Heart cover. Am I overstepping my boundaries by taking this with me and asking him to sign it?
