The Time of My Life slips 125-127 but is up 14% to 11,000, and achieves the milestone of 1 million sales!
I would so be jumping around the room screaming if I weren't doped up on cold medication.
For those who are wondering, Archie is not platinum with Crush yet but that should happen next week.

As I posted in the radio thread, there have been huge problems with Light On at ITunes. This has been all over DCO, but I know some people go here that don't go there or maybe just don't frequent the forums over there.
There is a message that pops up saying that Light On is not available when one clicks on the link to the song or the cover art. One can still buy the song but evidence has popped up that we are not being charged for these purchases, which means that Cook isn't getting credit for them, either.
Allegedly this has been going on since Wednesday. He may not have gotten credit for anything since then.
This is simply unacceptable. All of the Internet advertising for the song is leading to this message, so that is basically money wasted for RCA.
I would recommend that many of us do the following:
Email RCA. It's appropriate. It is their money that is being wasted. The address is firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have a DCO account, PM RCAJosh about this.
Go to Apple.Com and go through the help process to inform them of this. This may take some time.
It is way out of line for this to go on this long, and while I understand the hesitancy to contact RCA directly, this is absolutely something they should be aware of. As always, be cordial in your e-mails, and at no point should conspiracy theories or David Archuleta be mentioned.

Here is the entry:
Here is the entry for Daniel Dodd Wilson:
This could turn out to be nothing, but I went through DD Wilson's ASCAP entry. He was the frontman for Semisonic and wrote or co-wrote almost every single song they ever performed, including their two biggest songs, "Closing Time" and "Chemistry". He has written for Jason Mraz and The Dixie Chicks, including "Not Ready To Make Nice". Other than that he seems to mostly work with indie artists.
What do you guys think?
ETA: I realized a lot of people on these forums are not as familiar with '90s alt-rock radio singles as I am, so here are links to the two aformentioned Semisonic songs:

I realize the topic may be touchy to some, but here it is. EW is doing a David V. David poll. Here's the link:
Our boy is winning right now.
Remember, this is just for fun!

I bring this up because this has happened several times over the past couple of days and I don't think it was brought up in this section.
This site will not open in Firefox for me. I know about two days ago a LOT of us were having problems and it might be a server issue. I'm getting into IE right now but I have practically opened up real estate here since late May and Firefox is almost never a problem for me. If it's widespread and there's something that can be done I just wanted to let you peeps know about it.
So, peeps, is it just me or do I need to switch to Safari? My computer has major issues with IE.
