SO
We all know what a sexy beast David is, and we all know he can growl his way through a song like nobody's business, and I was just wondering: after hearing his ultra-sultry cover of "Don't You (Forget About Me)," what other "sexy" songs do you think he should cover in the future, either on the new album or while on tour? For me personally, I would LOVE to hear him sing "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting," by Elton John. It's such a bombastic, rocking, testosterone-fueled tornado of sexy aggression--how could he NOT totally kill it? Also, I thought it'd be really interesting if he did a cover of Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover," with all those crooning notes in the verses and the wailing in the chorus. He could really put together a fantastic rendition and make it positively smoldering. :wub What about everyone else? What do you think David should cover in the sexy department

Hey all you crazy Cookies and Word Nerds!!! *waves enthusiastically*
So, I technically joined these boards several years ago as Proud Cookie (or PC, as some liked to affectionately call me), and I had an absolute blast being a part of this incredible fandom. Unfortunately, due to some extenuating circumstances *coughcoughPARENTALUNITScough!* I had to leave this lovely place and some even lovelier friends behind for an indefinite amount of time. But the sadness is over now!!! I'm a freshman in college this year, and as an independent adult free to make my own choices, I am once again ready and able to be a part of this wonderful David Cook community! I'm so happy! But you guys are gonna have to catch me up like CRAZY because I am soooo out of the loop. But yes! I'm so stoked to be with you all again and celebrate the wonder and beauty that is David Roland Cook! ~<3 PC P.S. I reposted this from my original thread in Introductions; hope you don't mind!

Hey all!
I was just curious: has anyone been able to get their DJs to play David's music at their respective Proms? "Avalanche" comes to mind first as a slow-dance number, and perhaps "Declaration" as a jump-up-and-down-and-shout-at-the-top-of-your-lungs song... any other suggestions? In any case, I'm at least going to get our DJ to play songs that David sang on Idol or has covered on tour, or even just songs that remind me of him. What do you think?

All right, I'm fully aware that there's already a general acting debut thread on here, but I was wondering what would happen if I asked about something more specific, and David's performance of MOTN popped in my brain, and bingo! Debut on Broadway as the Phantom! So that's my opinion; what do you guys think? Where would David mesh as a Broadway star? What shows should he be in, and what roles was he born to play? I mean, he's already been to NY TONS of times...
