David is kind of in the same league as Robbie, but may be more authentic. In all likelihood, Cook will be this season's Chris Daughtry. Which is a good thing, considering we didn't have a full-on rocker last season. He's got a mohawk and a big voice. These kind of guys are hard to judge based off auditions, but knowing that he progressed into the top 24 means he might be even better than his audition would lead us to believe.

I'm quite looking forward to that as well Danny. He's got great range, so hopefully he'll be able to find the perfect songs to emphasize that. I think we can expect to see/hear some really amazing stuff from him.

I tend to agree with you Manda, I'm not big on comparisons lol. Not saying that it's a bad thing to be compared to Daughtry considering the success he's had, cuz I'd love to see David have all kinds of success. But comparisons aside, he's got amazing talent and I hope that above all he'll be recognized for that.

Being compared to Chris Daughtry is not bad at all. Great compliment if you ask me. I, too, am very interested in seeing David's song selections. He has a great voice and I think he'll do well in this competition.
